I dont think we're meant to choose the game files directly. It doesnt just let you choose the folder right?

You could just click on the _anniversary_ folder and just click open, in theory anyway assuming mac isnt stupid as usual. Rather than the grayed out icon directly. We want CF to be able to see the whole folder, not just the app pkg content

You can check if it's a scam or not by looking at the accounts page, if the account has the "Admin" tag then it's a real employee. If not, then it's a scam.

You might also see some server hosting services contacting you, often to recruit partners. As long as they don't ask anything suspicious from you, you can consider them trustworthy

You can bypass them, but only with very specific methods which are not legal and could get you in legal trouble. Do you want to bypass the DPI anyways?

okay so I have a unique situation on my hands currently and I could use a little guidance. So I'm working on developing a modpack for a little modded content SMP. Long story short, there are some balancing issues in one of the mods that cannot be resolved through kubeJS, datapacks, or config. I would like for my players to be able to download the pack off curseforge instead of importing a zip for ease of use and professionality. I managed to repackage the mod and make the necessary changes but it's not registered by curseforge. so here's my dilemma: since this repackaged curseforge mod isn't recognized by the moderation team it's unlikely to get approved in a modpack. So should I try and get it approved as a fork? (the mod is under MIT license) or should I just try and make a patch mod and use mixins to redirect the method I want gone?

Lan and Modded MC has never worked all that well, as Minecraft's LAN was really only built to support Vanilla. Modded introduces a lot more files that may need to be synced per player, this can be taxing on a lan connection, due to the host needing to work double time (or more depending on player count)

Easiest fix: make a local server and join it !mc-univ OR rent/find a server online to join.
