When I open curseforge, at the top right it says to log in to Microsoft, it pops open a window that says to copy and paste it into the website it will open. I do so, input my user and password and then the website says “you are logged in you may now safely close this window” then the 15:00 timer that CF has provided continues to tick, and then it say log in failed. I have tried multiple times, and half of the times I leave the tab that says “you may close this tab” open just in case

How to install mods in the CurseForge App

1. Click + Create Custom Profile
2. Name it, select the required Minecraft version, select the modloader & modloader version (usually the highest number), click Create.
3. Click the profile icon.
4. Click Add More Content
5. Search and install the desired mods.
6. Start the game!

How to install mods that are not on the CurseForge app

1. Right click the profile picture or Open the profile and click the Icon next to the play button.
2. Click Open Folder.
3. Drag the mod(s) into the mods folder. (Note: Some mods will require others, to run. Make sure to read the instructions for the mod!)
4. Start the game!

If you see a in your app, an update is avaliable.

As for toggling on/off auto, as far as I know there is not a way to do so. As depending on the reason for the update, they could include things like security updates, fixes , new features, etc.

4. Check the Allow content management for this profile option if you want to edit the content of the modpack, uncheck it to disable.

Every update for the modpack my friend have to manually change their keybinds so I saved them, plus I also have a non published version of a mod the creator gave me which does not upload.
