Because you have to tell it to use j17. Find the file that you change the configuration for the server in. Could be the bat file, or it's sometimes a cfg. Use notepad or vsc to open it.

You should be able to set the Java path there. Though personally I have j17 set as my Java HOME so it never really comes up

You need to log into Minecraft with your Microsoft account in order to play Minecraft because Minecraft is owned by Microsoft, so your Minecraft account(s) are tied to your Microsoft account. Without signing in, Microsoft has no way of verifying which account you are trying to play with, or if you own that account in the first place.

Hi friend, remember that Java arguments file? Go back and see if there is a flag like xmx or something that says 2gb, you just wanna change that number to something higher and save it

Might actually be in the .bat file as well, but that's the flag responsible for allocating x amount of memory to the server

Mac is an OS that not many folks have enough knowledge on to be able to reply to these kinds of support questions, so sometimes they really just don't know what to recommend

In your case, if you are unlucky enough you might never be able to play Minecraft modded in Russia unless installing a launcher that carries malwares.

Not sure if it's a CF thing or a Sims thing. But in CF, my Tray is showing up with the mods. The files themselves are in their proper spot (mods in mods folder, characters/lots in tray folder). When I open CF, my characters/lots are listed with my mods. I never used to do that. -- Note, I am using the free version if that makes a difference.

We are not against helping people living is Russia. However the Russia gouvernment, or a ISP in this country, is blocking some services related to CurseForge. I'm not sure if everyone in Russia has this problem, but as far as I saw every Russia users get some network restrictions.

You can try a VPN or mess inside the DNS, but it's not guarantee to work. You can also try to download in the website and use the import feature which may not be blocked in some cases.

Otherwise I don't think there is anything you can do. Except moving outside the country or contacting the ISP.
Note that other launchers/mod manager, like Modrinth, are also being blocked.

yall, im confused as hell. someone help me out. im trying to update my modpack that i put an adventure map on. i have two custom mods i created that are on there. 1 is important for the map as it holds as the decor adn other things that are important. i tried uploading it 3 days ago. the mod gotham_terror_dev_assets was rejected by moderation for not being on the non curseforge approved list. this caused the modpack zip to be rejected. i added the dev assets to curseforge as its own project. It linked itself to the main modpack adn i reuploaded a new zip with the jar file for (dev_assets) in the folder for the modpack. rejected by moderation, something about this mod is one of curseforges hosted mods and doesent need to be in the mod folder. removes jar from folder, mod doesent show up up when i download new modpack file.....what do i do?

It's not something I recommend to do. It's preventing you because the new registries are not compatible with the old registries, and I don't think there is a workaround for this.

Maybe the modloaders themselves are being blocked by your ISP or Russia 🤔
You can try to add the modloaders inside the list.general of zapret, otherwise I am not sure

May try as well Cloudflare Warp, I doubt it's going to make much differences but it's often doing miracles

My Minecraft game is stuck on this screen for some reason.
