But am on net and not sure why am getting this error. hi, i'm trying to get all my addons for world of warcraft the same on my laptop as they are on my pc including settings etc. I've logged in and done addon sync and checked all the boxes

then joined the profile on my laptop, there by default the bottom two (auto unistall and back up settings) are not checked. I figure if i check backup settings it will back up the few settings that were on addons already present instead of taking all settings from the pc one, and perhaps overwrite my good pc ones in the profile.

What's the simplest way to get my laptop addons and their settings ported over? copy entire interface file somehow perhaps?

CF doesnt test the projects for users, thats on the devs to do before they decide to release something publicly.

Only thing CF does is scans the projects for things like known malware or other things that arent suppose do be in the files uploaded.

If you want people to test the map, you would need to look for testers yourself. Can use the lfg/promo room as shown earlier to make your own post looking for testers.

If you are not sure how to share the file, you could always uploaded it to CF as an alpha file then manually share the link so they can download it from the site OR set it to beta so it can be downloaded via the CF app for users to test. (Projects with only Alpha files dont sync with search)

You would need to make a post in #1032223688180895804 saying that you need testers, then somehow get them the file so they can test it.

Other option is you upload the map to CurseForge but as an Alpha file, as projects with only Alpha files will not sync with the app/site search. Meaning you could manually send the user the link to the project on the site for them to download and test.

How to get started with shaders

Playing with a shaders mod like Oculus, Iris, or others and want more flair to your world? Don’t know what shader to pick from or where to look? try looking on Shaderlabs or the customization tab on the CurseForge site.

To get started using shaders:

1. Download the shader mod and its requirements for the mod loader you’re using and run the game at least once to generate the shaderpacks folder
2. Download the shader you want from either the CurseForge site or Shaderlabs (linked above)
3. In the CurseForge app, right-click the modpack profile icon OR click the button in the modpack profile
4. Click Open Folder
5. Open the shaderpacks folder and place the shader file you downloaded in there

It does it no matter what mods I have installed on the profile

and this is the only colored text in the log that shows up when it does it

The mods folder is there though so I've tried deleting it, which actually makes it so that the profile CAN open, but then of course the mods just aren't there

Why do mod packs I create take like 7gb and when I delete them they only give up like 1.2 gb? I left my pc yesterday with an extra 11gb and made a mod pack with 48 mods and half of them are performance mods and I lost 8 gb

So I have taken about a 6-7 month break from Sims4 on my computer, so Ive updated it and I actually uninstalled and re installed curseforge, all week I have been re downloading my MODs and theres a lot. so onto my issue, over the course of downloading mods I noticed that some already had check marks, which is weird because I deleted the MOD folder before re installing, so I downloaded the Better Exceptions MOD and its report says I have multiple duplicates of the same MODs, so now Im wondering is there another folder that would have duplicate MODs? cause I thought only the MOD folder inside the Sims 4 file could hold MODs?

How to install mods in the CurseForge App

1. Click + Create Custom Profile
2. Name it, select the required Minecraft version, select the modloader & modloader version (usually the highest number), click Create.
3. Click the profile icon.
4. Click Add More Content
5. Search and install the desired mods.
6. Start the game!

How to install mods that are not on the CurseForge app

1. Right click the profile picture or Open the profile and click the Icon next to the play button.
2. Click Open Folder.
3. Drag the mod(s) into the mods folder. (Note: Some mods will require others, to run. Make sure to read the instructions for the mod!)
4. Start the game!

You should try to use the Mojang launcher feature. Otherwise, you will need to check that your gamepass haven't expired.
If everything is in order and that you can't login in the launcher, you will need to contact Microsoft or pay the real game

Mods that are not on CurseForge, must be on the 3rd-party list to be included in modpacks uploaded to CurseForge.
If a mod is not on this list it can't be included in the export of a modpack and must be removed before uploading.
If you upload with a mod that isn't on this list the file will be rejected.

Visit the List of approved 3rd party mods to check them out or make a request for a new 3rd party mod's approval
