You can write pretty much everything you want. Just try to explain what the modpack is about, the differences with vanilla/other modpacks

How much details is needed usually depend on the person who read it, one employee might approve a one-line description when another will be happy only with minimum 10 thoughtful lines

Yeah it's definitely a AMD issue. Even if a modpack worked before for them, I can garantuee no modpack will work anymore

It's possible they somehow managed to corrupt the driver between now and before. The fix would to reinstall the driver from the AMD app

So I'm playing BetterMC4 on a local server on my pc with 'Universalator ' with my girlfriend in the same household, I have kind of figured out that when there are stair blocks placed, and you then try to place any slabs or fences or blocks up against them, they will flash and glitch and create a fixed texture of that block burned onto the screen near my crosshair.
If I find the exact block I can break it and replace it and it will go away, but right now I have no idea where these blocks are and its just stuck on my screen. Does anyone have an answer on how to fix this? I have turned shaders on and off as well as the texture pack, with a lower render distance it seems to go away until I raise it again.

How to add/remove mods in a modpack:

1. Click on the picture of the modpack.
2. Click the Add More Content button, IF this button is not there, see below before you continue.
3. Find the Mods, Resource Packs or Maps you wish to Install and click Install on them.
4. Wait for all the required mods to be downloaded.
5. Start the modpack.

How to Enable/Disable content management for modpacks:

1. Click on the picture of the modpack.
2. Click on the button next to the Play button.
3. Click on Profile Options.
4. Check the Allow content management for this profile option if you want to edit the content of the modpack, uncheck it to disable.

NOTE: The Allow content management for this profile option is what allows you to Delete, Disable, Update or Install any Mods, Resource Packs or Maps managed by CurseForge. It must be ON to modify any of them! (Currently)

I have this datapack project for Araxer's Bestiary mod that add compability to multiple mob mods.
Some people have been suggestiong to release it as multiple seperated datapack and some suggesting to do it as a bundle pack. Same thing what serilum does with their mod basically.

The thing is my datapack will not break that much (Only some o the item image will not appear, but theres a chance the mod dev will fix it) if one of the mob mod is gone, so its a different case with what serilum have.
So the question is that does uploading both bundled pack and seperated pack is allowed in this case or not??

there are plenty of mods, I'd suggest OpenLoader, all you have to do is put the datapacks into this file order after using the "Open Folder" button on your pack: "config/openloader/data" just put them in that folder and they'll be auto loaded whenever a world is made https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/open-loader

i do think you have to run the pack first so it can create the relevant folders but it's pretty easy

I have a world with my friend hosted via Essential. Until today we never had any problems also with mods installed. We then installed some new mods and now my Friend can’t connect to the server anymore. We then started troubleshooting by deleting the „new“ mods. But when we got to the mod „Crackers wither storm mod“ I get the following Text whenever I start the world: „Errors in currently selected datapacks prevented world from loading. […]“ when I have the mod active this error doesn’t happen.
I am using cursforge with Minecraft version 1.18.2 an I am the server host. It would be nice if any body can help me to remove this mod with out getting this error message. If more informations are needed just contact me. Thank you in advance

Hi, I need help. Since yesterday, I can't open any modpacks through CurseForge, including the ones I was playing last week. I don't know what happened. When I click to play, the button either stays pressed forever, or it says Minecraft is already running (it isn't), or it says I need to be online to download missing resources. I was playing the game the other day, but suddenly all the modpacks stopped working. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

I can't even delete modpacks right now. I can't even close CurseForge. I've restarted CurseForge, tried reinstalling it, and restarted my computer. I really don't know what else to do.

If it still isn't working just try logging in and then log in (the sentence doesn't make sense, but sign in via google or such then sign in with microsoft to properly log in

I get that it's human error, but to have this for months is absurd. The only link I can find to the actual standalone client is in your discord, the website is only linking to the overwolf client.

Both standalone and on overwolf button lead to the on overwolf exe, with the same hash. This is the same for every single instance of these two seperate buttons on that page.

Hello, i´m currently having a problem that prevents me from creating new Modpacks for Minecraft.
It doesn´t matter which version or modloader i´m chosing and it keeps appearing even after i restarted my computer.

Does anyone know something about it and or has the same problem?

1. Right-click the modpack profile icon OR click the button in the modpack profile.
2. Click Open Folder.
3. Open the logs folder.

Hello ive been playing curseforge for some time now and recently took a break but when i came back to play the launcher keeps crashing no matter what modpack i launch, it tells me that im not signed in and game files are missing but ive logged back in a bunch of times, ive deleted and reinstalled both curseforge and minecraft ive ran curseforge as admin and nothing seems to work the only thing that helps is when i delete the install folder and play, but for some reason it only works as long as i dont restart or turn on and off my computer please help

Setting prefer IPv4 stack to Minecraft

Occasionally the Minecraft game when launched tries to use the IPv6 stack to contact Minecraft authorization (auth) services.
Usually this is when trying to join a server but can also happen because of mods trying to contact services.

How to repair your Minecraft installation on CurseForge - **NOT** the same as `Repair Profile` - please follow these exact steps

3. Click Repair Installation option.

4. You have 2 options:
   a. Profile Code !mc-sharecode
   b. Export Zip !mc-sharezip
5. Send the zip/code to the people that want it! They can follow the instructions in !mc-importpack to install the pack.

This option will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to create a new project
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Share Profile
6. Click Export.
7. Select the files that should be included.
8. Open your Project that you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.
9. Wait for Moderation & Sync so it can show up in the client! (See !sync for limitations and !status to learn about the moderation process and how long it will take to approve/decline)

Not possible, mods are not always available for all versions which would be needed to create this feature (I don't know any mod loader which has this feature)

You would need to create a new profile and add all mods again you want to have

How to upload a server pack

Serverpacks are special files uploaded alongside an existing project file.

*In order to upload a server pack you must have a pre-uploaded export file

1. Make the server pack by zipping up the required files by selecting the required folders & files. It should include the config and mod folders at a minimum, plus anything else you specifically required to run the server. Start/Run/Setup scripts are optional. Don't include modloader files or the minecraft server jar.
2. Go to the Files tab on the project.
3. Click the name of the file you wish to upload the server pack to. The pack and server should match pack versions.
4. Click Upload Additional File.
5. Fill out the form.
