How do I add additional mods to an already approved modpack I uploaded? If I can that is

has anyone else experienced a problem when trying to log into curseforge and after the 2 code verification it says "verification failed" in a notification on the botton of the window? it shows that I am indeed logged in on the bottom left icons as shown in the first picture but still shows I am not logged in on the top right. I've tried clicking the top right one and logging in around 4-5 times now and every time i finish the process, it says I'm logged in on the web browser but says login failed on the curseforge app window.

I'm pretty new to modding so I wanted to make it easier and just launch minecraft with the mods I wanted through the curseforge app on my PC but in order to launch it, I apparently need to log in

One of them did get banned recently, complained like a child on his private server and threatened to take legal action, then somehow got unbanned.

For KSP modding, we recommend to use CKAN. It always been more practical than CurseForge, which is probably part of the reason KSP was abandonned in CurseForge

I am very much logged in and works with vanilla launcher, i also have internet and its not that issue. i think the only difference between me and daily users is that i told a guy in game about my addons because he had a hard time leveling so i gave him some tips and told about the addons for questing

Addons are made with code that is allowed through Blizzards own LUA implementation, so it should be impossible to make such an addon that could get you banned, unless there's other software required to run in the background at the same time

Hello! I have been here several times before and yet i have been able to figure how to fix this issue. It would seem that my "internet" doesn't work even though it clearly works across every other thing. I have no antivirus or VPN's on at all and it should never be a problem with it + even if i had it, i wouldn't have came across this issue at all. As you can see in the picture i am completely locked out and cant even download or enter minecraft side on the curseforge app, basically being locked out because its saying i have no internet when i do. I have tested updating my internet protocal to 1.1.1.1 yet doesn't work, cmd and flushed dns through that and didn't work. Uninstalled and installed curseforge both with overwolf and without and still getting the same issues. I have been able to get into the modpacks area but then i just get a black screen without nothing loading or in the discovery area with just a big retry and no internet error. I am completely lost and i dont know what to do at this point, since it seems this app is complete and utterly useless when it comes to issues, especially ones that seem very likely to be easy to fix.

Probably some folders in the instances folder that either didnt delete properly, or failed to load for X reasons..

If you want, you can do 2 options.
Setup: in the cf app click the in the very top right corner > open modding folder > instances folder > then:

1. Move the mod packs that arnt loading to your desktop > close the cf app fully or reboot you pc > (do not open the cf app again) add the folders back to the cf apps instances folder > open the cf app again

2. Just delete the folders for the packs you dont want anymore.

I have a problem, when I try to use my mods in curseforge when I click play it seems to open the vanilla launcher (I noticed the logo was not the same as yesterday so I was a bit confused) and then asks me to sign in again (which usually didn’t do) Once I do it it seems as it is the vanilla launcher either way I clicked the Play button, but then it seems to be downloading and didn’t opened it displayed an error “Cannot open the game error code one” sort of like that but it displays error code 1

weirdly enough curseforge didn't mess with stardew valley or the sims which i also have installed through curseforge and i can still open those perfectly fine

Hello! For the past few days i have just been running into problems with curseforge and im on the brink of just uninstalling this mess to find another launcher to work with. The problems i have been facing now is that i have been unable to play on any sort of modpack even vanilla through the curseforge launcher, since it just stops me when i press play and when i use the skip minecraft launcher in curseforge settings i get to the main menu of the game and then when i try to join a server i get an error like this: "Failed to log in: Unable to reach the authentication servers, try again later". I am really annoyed and i have tested everything from ipv6 disabled to renabled, to flushing dns, to logging out and logging in and even reinstalling curseforge several times and giving administrator perms. Still running into the same problem. I have a stable internet connection, vanilla minecraft launcher works fine and i am able to play on servers there like hypixel, but for some reason as soon as i get to curseforge everything stops working. Would love to actually get some help that isn't just the same steps over and over like i did before, thank you!

If you use the skip launcher, you will not have any launcher log. The launcher log can be required to fix some ingame issues, if you encounter one of these issues you will lose even more time trying to fix it than to fix the launcher
