You could try to change your DNS and restart your browser afterward, I don't know if the issue could be region-related yet or if it's purely CurseForge ends. If it's not working afterward, I would advise to open a ticket

Ok so clearly there is an issue between Nitrado Wildcard and Curseforge that needs to be investigated. The fact that servers are having an issue loading in to in game search with certain mods and map and other maps and mods work for others clearly something needs to b communicated between you all

Hello, I have an active Xbox gamepass on PC and I run the game through CurseForge. Today I got this error, "Something went wrong and we couldn't verify what products you own." And I can't get it removed even after logging out again and logging in to MicroSoft, Xbox, CurseForge, etc. The only way to run it is through the Xbox app, but there are no mods on it which is why I'm currently playing it. Any idea when mods will be fixed? Own a xbox nitrado server. Nitrados tech support says it's a mod issue and to unistsall all mods to get their services to work. Which I did and yes my server works when that is done. Used the Ark Mod Analyzer and only installed first 4 mods under compatible section. Server disappears and restart stopped crashes in nitrado. Time outs in game quickly. Uninstall and did a full wipe on server. Fresh game. Only installed Admin Panel. Server did work (show up) with that one mod added, and was able to log in, but admin Panel doesn't work. ARK ASCENDED shows that admin panel is disabled. This after I used command to enable it with admin password. Jist to let you know and this seems to be a current xbox issue I am reading about from AsA, Nitrado discord, Facebook posts as well as reddit.

If you remove curseforge mods from your nitrado server, it should reappeared. Did for me. I got that from Nitrado support techs using ingame support.

Ok go to uninstall mod list. Uninstall all mods from there. Go and start a single player or dedicated game option. See if you can get in and play Ark.

It's surprising, malwares on CurseForge are very rare since every files (talking about projects) are scanned by multiple specialized antivirus and checked by a human at least once in the project then occasionally as the project continue to push new uploads.

Most of the staff team here are not employees, meaning we cannot investigate it ourselves. This kind of potential security issues should be reported in a ticket and will be quickly looked by employees

Everything was done by Wildcard, it's possible CurseForge did not even updated anything from their end. At one point while Wildcard was announcing patches on their Discord, CurseForge said that "things aren't their ends", so that could have been a issue from Wildcard since the beginning

Hi! While I'm not an expert.

• anti debugging measures are practices a majority of applications use. ie. Obfuscation, preventing folks from creating false, but working client versions, antihooking measures, cheats, etc.

• Curseforge reads and writes to the disk as a means to download jars for minecraft mods, save your player settings, write to new files to generate configs, creates new folder structures. With this, you can also delete files from within the app without manually navigating to folders.

• to add, it has permission to install, delete, and modify specific files on the grounds that it is installing, just as any installer for an application would, it modifies it's own files and generates files/folders for it's own application use.

• if it's dropping the executable to %programdata% as an installer, that's. Intended function? How else do you expect the application to download and be accessible to you as a user on the machine ?

%programdata% is a system wide folder used by applications to store data, required files, settings etc.

• Curseforge is an electron based app, in general terms that's kinda like running a fancy chromium based browser, but inside a fancy app and it only goes to specific sites/apis. In this case, its different parts of the Curseforge site itself. I'm pretty sure that's where the browser user agent thing comes from. If you put just about any electron based client/installer in the analysis, it's gonna give you pretty similar flags.

The hybrid-analysis you sent doesn't actually redirect anywhere in particular. So I'm not 100% what might've been reported here more specifically outside of what you sent.

I understand the fear that comes with downloading applications, and being cautious is certainly important - but there are some functions and permissions an installer is for sure meant to have, that doesn't always equate to a security risk

• archive then delete the one you didn't want, you can delete it after it's archived if you want

the initial file you do gets manually approved but further files are scanned by the system and if it passes then it's approved, if not it gets flagged for manual review

I followed these directions to move my modpacks to a new drive, however it has been almost an hour and they are still not all moved over.

I cannot get out of the Moving existing modpacks to the new path... screen. I do know that my CurseForge folder on the original drive was about 120 GB (years of modded playthroughs), and now it is 101 GB and the new CurseForge folder on the drive I'm moving to is now 20 GB. So things are transferring but it is taking foreeever.

Is this just taking forever because there's a ton to transfer? Why can't I just copy/paste these folders instead of going through CurseForge? Thanks.

Alternatively, is there a safe way to "kill" Curseforge and start this process over, only transferring over the one modpack I'd really like to transfer over right now?

Curseforge is not a launcher. Also if it's a issue with installing Forge, then that would be on your end or Forge address ends

If you are on Russia, it's very likely to be due to the network restrictions of your country

There is roughtly 90% it's why you are experimenting if you are on Russia and have network issues. Even if you have "countermeasures"

As long as your connection or ISP is handled in Russia, it's enough to restrict your network

How to repair your Minecraft installation on CurseForge - **NOT** the same as `Repair Profile` - please follow these exact steps

1. Click on the Minecraft Tab on the left side of the CurseForge App.

3. Click Repair Installation option.

How to set Minecraft to use the correct GPU in Windows

If Minecraft will not start then use the tool linked at the bottom!

1. Start the modpack you wish to fix. If it will not start, then click the in the top right of the app then select Run Vanilla Minecraft. In the launcher that opens, go to the Installations tab and choose New Installation. Choose a name and select the Minecraft version of the modpack you are trying to run (like 1.19.4 or 1.7.10). Once created play it by clicking the green Play button that appears when hovering over it in the list of installations.
2. Open Task Manager while Minecraft is running (Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager)
3. Find minecraft in that list. It will be called something like "Java" or "OpenJDK Binary". (tip: sort by ram usage by clicking on the "Memory" tab. Minecraft uses a lot of ram so will be at the top)
4. Right click it and Open File Location
5. Copy the file path from Windows Explorer by clicking into the address bar and pressing Ctrl + C
6. Press and type in GPU, then press Enter to open Graphics Settings
7. Under Graphics performance preference select Desktop App
8. Click Browse
9. Click the address bar and paste in the folder location you copied by pressing Ctrl + V, then press Enter
10. Select the javaw or javaw.exe file from the files in front of you (tip: press J to immediately jump to the files that start with that letter)
11. Once selected, click Add in the bottom right of the window
12. Click the Options button on the newly added option
13. Set it to High performance on the best GPU you have

So my Minecraft crashed after I loaded it through Curseforge and I thought ill just reload it but when I tried to open I got an error thing that said overwolf was moved or deleted so the shortcut wouldn’t work anymore and it wouldn’t work no matter how I tried to load it so I had to reinstall Curseforge and when I signed in my account was wiped thankfully my brother found my save files but just wondering 1. Whats going on with curseforge. 2. How do I get the save files into Curseforge?

I'm not sure what happened with CurseForge or Overwolf, usually this kind of issue would be rather caused by a antivirus deleting the app without your knowledge

You can move the files in your instances folder. Open the very top -> Open Modding Folder -> Instances folder

Same issue here too, been doing it all day. ATLauncher downloads most mods fine from curseforge but the ones I have to manually download lead to the oops page. Visiting the site manually and accessing near anything gives the same page. Not sure how to implement the solution provided above
