We only have a smaller cluster with about 3500 members luckily. About 2.5-3k of them play ASA alone, but we have around 500 ASE players still on our other cluster.

Our players are starting to get antsy and so am I haha 🤣. I'm hoping that things pick up before I have to go back to work. I'd feel bad leaving my other admins to try and calm down people who just don't understand or are too rude to understand that there's only so much that us server owners can do at the moment

So got a curious little problem that I've had since I started making this personal modpack. It seems like some vanilla recipes are missing from both the creative menu and JEI menu, but I can still craft them?

Any idea why that could be, and how to fix/implement the recipes again? I tried ripping the recipes.json from 1.20.1, which is the version the pack is on, and copying the directory over to the data folder, but still no dice. Maybe it's something to do with mods replacing them...?

That's probably part of why it's taking a while to load try to reduce the folder. Only keep instances you'd be using, or put the rest in a separate folder to access later

You probably did signed in the wrong account like over 99% of people who have this problem and think they singed in the right one, check the login info again

If you can confirm everything is alright after checking the info again - as it's extremely likely you have missed something - what you could try is a repair installation to reinstall the launcher directly followed by a computer restart

So it seems PlayStation is still having issues. When I'm attempting to join my modded cluster AFTER updating mods in the mods list, it'll install the mods whilst on the page where it shows your server & it'll eventually kick me to the main screen. Well, that doesn't happen to me, the only thing is that I can't play the Amissa map because of the Dino Depot.

But we are all the same until CF fixes the dino depot issue we will not be able to play if we have that mod because the girl has checked it and it works correctly but she said that CF has overlooked something.

No idea how series x players are saying it's fine...we are on series x and mods are still broken, still stating invalid despite uninstalls and reinstalls. Marnimods griffins now have numbers all over their bodies in code and stand in the air, poor pygmy hippo moonwalks across everything and has a frozen face of shock. Mod maps are now dependent on various main play maps, Tharat ancient sands required us to reinstall Abberation, Astraeos needed us to install The Center, Amissa needed us to install Scorched...the whole damn thing is screwed. Astraeos has such a weird lag to it and when I logged back in it has wiped all my player stats and set my movement speed to 3400 and my health to near dead and I was asleep in my damn bed so had to do a mind wipe. Xipo fish currently teleport me to the sky and drop me from a height so the sea is a no go...I could go on

After looking at the log that look like a known issue with dotnet related to MacOS back from 2023 and 2024 and presumably never fixed. I'm trying to find a fix on the internet but infortunately I find nothing that doesn't means messing with how dotnet is implemented in the app

Alright. RAM overallocation is the main reason for a BSOD, for multiple reasons:

1. Using too much RAM could overload your computer, eventually causing issues with your system and causing it to fail

2. Due to the way the game is coded, everything you allocate to Minecraft is reserved and constantly running at its full potential due to the unused RAM being reserved (empty bits if it's making more senses), Windows will have a lot of trouble to get this RAM back in a instant because of the game locking it aways from the OS itself and from other applications

3. A faulty hardware could cause these issues even more likely to happens, too much RAM could eventually harm your computer and issues in these cases - if a BSOD is not harming in the first place, one of our moderators claims to have lose their computer because of a bad habit of overallocation in this game
   Note Windows is also taking 2 giga up to 4 giga, so with 12 giga allocated only 2 or 4 giga will be available for the OS. The rest could be taken by other applications in the background, or straight up failing anyways due to faulty hardware

Minecraft handles ram differently then other games. Too little can have issues, but same goes for too much. As Minecraft will literally try to use all the ram you give it and try to shove it all through 1 cpu core.

Instead of speeding up the game, it slows down the cpus processing by trying to process all the ram, used or unused.

Part of the struggle with console modding, is WC and CF could be ready to push something out, but Sony/Microsoft has to approve changes, or other things outside of the first set of teams control. Whereas on PC, they don't need the extra approval/checks, it's just free reign.

the above is just an example. but yeah, PC would be much easier to push fixes for, it's unfortunate but it's true. It's not that the teams do not care, there's just extra steps they can't speed external parties through.

It's probably because you have a lot of storage/modpacks in your Instances folder, which can slow down the app launch

I feel like that have been a bigger problem than before, I hope that will be fixed eventually

Repairing Windows system files

Please follow these steps to try repair core system files:

1. Press the key
2. Type in cmd
3. Click Run As Administrator
4. Type DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth in the CMD window and press enter.

6. Once that has finished, restart your computer!

yes, but I'm using Prism to install a modpack, a few of the mods were blocked and linked back to their direct mod downloads, but did not load the pages correctly when trying to manually download. Refreshing or going back does not fix the issue

I heard from the person who's modpack I was attempting to install when I had to go to manually install a few of the mods from CF, that other people HAVE tried reporting the issue to CF, whether or not CF has seen those reports or not is unbeknownst to me. Hopefully some devs are already working on a fix

i was downloading star technology mod, it got stuck in 80% and saying that i have no internet connection ( it was connected) so i thought its a bug and i closed the app from task manager, and when i relaunched the app, nothing loaded anymore in the minecraft tab

Okay so the server I play on, when I try to get on it tells me there are 2 mods download or update. It gets to 100% yet doesn’t let me in and the total progress is supposed to only go up to 72mb. Right now it is 655mb/72mb

But it just stays on the preparing to join server screen and that’s all it does is just continues to go up

Something could have been corrupted, or it's maybe your network. But I don't think I ever fixed it by going into the network fixes
You could eventually try with Cloudflare Warp, which should fix most of the network issues & make it more reliable to access certain services
