Nothing I stated was an opinion it's public knowledge curseforge as a company and each individual developer for mods were given weeks to test on the 5.5 dev kit to be ready for this update . That's not an opinion it's a fact . It's also a fact that curse forged screwed up something with cross compatibility mods on their back end migration to 5.5. Things were broke and at the fault of wildcard releasing it anyway because astreous second map areas had a deadline to be released. Hence why they were given multiple weeks before hand to test 5.5 on the dev kits . you are right we don't know what happened but what we do know is they 100% had the ability to test this problem before hand and released 0 info to the public about it not being ready until people lost their entire servers from starting it up and it screwing all their tames , time , and money spent on mods in less than 5 sec so yes people have every right in the world to state the mf problem. Lots and lots of people literally lost their entire servers , fragmented to nothing and unrecoverable.

A library taking a lot of time to install could be caused by a corrupted installation, path permissions issues, network issues, or something more specific on your system

Well I would say that it's running quite well in general. You will usually find every mods on 1.20.1 and have them updated if they have not started to move in a newer version
However that could be less performant than older versions like 1.12.2, and 1.12.2 would still be more performant including the optimization mods for both

I just reinstalled the game , the maps , and went into save mode and cleared my cache on ps5 . Attempting to load in 0 mods installed and see if it lets me in loading in the map and installing there

Try these steps… I’ve been on a few times using them the more mods the longer it takes but you CAN get on to at least check stuff I built a few things last night to see what happens when I go on today. The only mod I had issues with was SUPER CRYO STORAGE. SCS terminals disappeared. That’s my current mod list.

That could be a network issue between you and the servers. You could test to restart your computer, restart your router, disable your antivirus, use a different internet connection, and change your DNS server. Although I can't guarantee that will fix it

I want to migrate my account from a Twitch login to a GitHub login. These two don't use the same email address, and I don't see any way to do that in the interface. Can you guide me?

Resolution

There is no easy way to do so, but there is one thing we can try that will require you to change your Twitch email address (I assume you can change it back afterwards).
Please follow these steps, and let me know if it works:

• Change your Twitch email address to the email address of your GitHub.
• Log out of your CurseForge account and log back in using our legacy website (after this action, your CurseForge email address will change accordingly to the new Twitch email address).
• Log out once again from your CurseForge account and log back in using GitHub.
• Change your Twitch email address to your previous one (after this, you won't be able to log in using the Twitch SSO again).

Please keep in mind that you need to wait 24h to change your Twitch email again.

I can tell you just from the 160 times I tried logging into our map with the mods dino Depot is definitely one that is not working on console. It freezes the most on the download/install and consistently says Invalid while the others finally install.

Im a xbox player and I still can't access my server because it says I need to purchase a mod again.

For console players:
1. Delete all mods
2. Join server and let it download mods from the server listing
3. You'll get a failed to join message. Don't close this. There will be a mod counter in the top right saying x/0 mods updated.
4. Wait until x=the number of mods actually on the server
5. Close the error and back out to main menu. Don't close the application 
6. Attempt to join the server again. It will download the mods again but faster
7. Cross your fingers you don't black screen
8. If you crash or black screen, restart app and start at step 1 again

This worked for some

difference now, at least for me i can join server, it does the install (sick of seeing this lol) and actually joins, but if i log off and go straight back on it does the install again

When I click on play in a modpack, its says that I need to log in, it gives me a code that I need to confirm with microsoft, then its gives another code in my email, I confirms all of them, until it tells me I'm connected but when I comeback to curseforge its says "login failed pls try again"

I'm having the same issue. Completely dashboards me hack to xbox home screen. However when joining back the game all mods appear invalid again. But when tapping to join back on the server they all say installed. However when doing the download again its trying to download all the mods again because they are still invalid.

We have a massive crossplay cluster that we cannot bring online at the moment 😦

Xbox unofficial server- Still broken only was able to get 6 mods out of 21 to run even after downloading installed. Deleted visual storage mod from curse forge saved and updated, restarted server. Still installed on Ark mod list saying incompatible. Left it alone went to server and joined game. Visual storage installed after not installing when I had it download on curse forge. Without curse forge, it installed as if it was a client sided only. Beware.

Our clusters has been down almost a week. We have 10 maps on our normal cluster, over 50 private servers and 3 Primal maps and we can't bring any online yet.

I know that curseforge and wildcard are working super hard but trying to keep almost 2500 players calm is so hard haha
