A file in the Minecraft installation was locked, probably used by another process. I don't know what went wrong exactly, maybe a very specific scenario hapanned where a seperate task/duplicate program of the launcher/game was open and actively accessing the file.
Or something in your system was messing around, like your antivirus, Windows file permissions (eventually), etc

I am trying to setup a selfhosted server on my pc and been trying for hours and it doesnt seem to work. i am currently using fabric modloader to setup a all of fabric 6, but when i start the serverstarter.bat it install everything and once i agree to the eula it start the loader, after a few second the server said the server has been stopped and will start again in 10 second, i try intalling java se 8. i made a server with fabric but vanilla and it worked but when i try with the mod pack it is not working. also when i try lauching it with the fabric-server-launch.jar it give me the error a mod crashed on startup with a bunch of error. i dont know if anyone had the same issue at a point in time. i currently am completly lost, it is not the first self hosted server im making, but it is the first time im having such problem. any help will be appreciated.

There is a small chance it's a certificate issue. The very last outage did prevent some random launchers from working but not others, and some particularily lucky individuals could login.

If it's a certificate from Mojang being expired and not renewed like last time, changing the date of your computer could potentially fix this issue

1/2 the ram isnt being used, 140% out of 800% of CPU (I know single threaded but still) and tps is like 9 / 20
