Inside settings there should be an option to skip launcher, disable it and launch your pack and it should take you to the normal MC launcher where you can login normally

Basically if the addon or mod with create compact last update was before March this year, OR specifically states that it has version 6 support. It will not work with the newest create mod updates

If your logging in on a DIFFERNET pc then the one you had the minecraft modpacks on, then the packs are on the other pc. MC doesnt have a sync feature with the app as the base game doesnt have one.

My friend is having a little trouble, he just bought a new minecraft account because his old one only had bedrock edition. We are trying to play a modpack on curseforge so he just downloaded it, now when he is clicking play he needs to log in with his microsoft account and write a code that curseforge gives him, and when he does that in the browser it says something like "youre now logged into curseforge" But when he opens curseforge it says "login failed unable to authenticate with xbox live" And I think it might be because the xbox account it is linked to is also linked to his old one? But i dont know. But he definitely does have an xbox account with that same login. So how do we fix this?

You can't. Doing it will cause more trouble than starting a new modpack from scratch, for several reasons:

1. Every mods will be incompatible in the modpack. And if we added the possibly to update them automatically to the version, you will experiment new issues and incompatibilities and missing mods. -Making the modpack harder to debug than creating a completely new one

2. Your old worlds will be incompatible with the new version.

3. Some of the configs will have to be deleted or rewritten entirely.

Hi all, I've been trying to submit a WoW AddOn for review but each time it says my .zip file is rejected due to having files such as .DS_Store, __MACOSX/*, etc. I've run the zip utility from the terminal to clean these up and it either says that those files were deleted or there aren't any files to clean up, but I still get rejected due to these being present each time I upload.

Does anyone know how I can ensure these aren't present anywhere within the file structure of the compressed folder so my submission can be properly reviewed?

When you create a modded world, this world depend on the mods you have in the modpack. Trying to change to load this world with different mods will likely break everything, as there will be missing required data and new data forced into the world which will likely mess since the world was not created with these same data, and might as well conflict with the other mods' data from the other modpack

I need help. I downloaded curse forge to get mods for my sims 4. I have an external hard drive that holds my sims and curse forge. Hey lads. I keep getting error code -1 when i try to boot up a modpack. What is weird (and also frustrating) is that this very modpack im trying to open I also made exactly the same a month ago (Except for one extra mod) and it is fine. This is the case for every modpack i make now. It isnt mod specific (ie. It is not a singular mod that causes it) because i have deleted so many mods its not even funny but it seems to be random at times. It’s not what I meant, let me try to explain it better. When I set it to install, it installed, restarted my computer, then it asked to restart again after asking to install again. I kept reading and accepting to see if it was, I don’t know, something related to accumulated updates, but apparently it wasn’t. Though it should be updating right to the latest. I did notice you are using a very old cpu (I have the same generation, just the I7 version). 4th generation cps are slowly starting to show some issues

Unfortunately, in the country where I live, any contact with a large company like AMD becomes complicated. I will take it to a technician so he can assess the condition of the part and contact support himself. This machine has been with me for about 2 years now, but as you can see, it’s quite outdated. It was recently cleaned, thermal paste replaced, coolers, etc. It should be working 100%, but these are components with a limited lifespan, sometimes it's not adapting well to the strange environment here.

Hopefully the technician can figure out why the GPU is bing a brat. Though after looking up the age of the gpu, it is possible as well the newer drivers are "too new" for the gpu as well.

I didn't choose this computer, it was given to me as a gift. It was bought at a store that sells FRIDGES, STOVES, and CAR WHEELS haha.
