Hello guys, I have a Problem. I get the Error "Failed to download the MC Launcher due to a network error" but I already did everything that is recommended on the website. I uninstalled it multiple times already (sth between 8 and 12 times), but it isnt choosing the right folder. It doesnt let me use the standart modding folder, and If I select a different one, It at first looks like it works, I start a mod pack, then the game doesnt launch and the Folder isnt getting acceptet anymore. Weird issue wondering if others have had it. In curseforge doing 1.20.4 forge but no mods I get no audio. It says in the log sound failed to load. On fabric through forge doing 1.21.4 same error. If I run forge 1.20.1 works completely fine. If I do 1.21.4 through MC launcher from MS store works fine.

I have updated and rolled back all concerning drivers.

Wiped and done multiple types of Java and even routed curseforge Java to specific Java.

All other sounds work both the other MC like I said and other games. Tested other games at the same time sound and discord working fine.

I used AI for 2 hours trying to diagnosing it we cleared environmental things on my PC I've never heard of and tried running arguments things I don't understand but I did some deep diving and couldn't fix it.

How to get started with shaders

hey, i am playing a custom modpack and added a mod that added a new dimension, it broke some things, i removed this mod but now i cannot play on my world due to minecraft finding all the old mod files and not knowing wtf to do with em, is there a fix for this?

for context, the atlantis mod broke my pack, the issue it caused was breaking all picaxes (every picaxe mineable block was now unable to be collected via picaxe.)

I've had this happen before. When this happened it was because the nbt tags for the pickaxes got erased. There's a mod called "Load my F***ing Tags" that can sometimes fix that. As for when the mod is removed I don't think there's a way to open the world since the dimension would've added stuff to the world file

I'm having an issue with curseforge not really showing any possible way to modify a "description" or an "overview" of the custom minecraft modpack I am assembling

It's supposed to be in the profile settings/options, however, there is no field for applying description or overview, there is not any button to add one, no page for overview for the modpack, no option to put any simple description to the modpack itself

I see public modpacks with overviews/descriptions, but no option to edit or remove that overview/description either

Every single internet search is failing because I am clearly not being given the same option to modify a description in these modpacks as everyone else

Discriptions are handled on the CF site side of the projects, You have to create a modpack project page on the site then set all that there.

Once the pack itself is at a point you are happy with you export the pack from the cf app ands upload it to your project page

i’m suffering from a major issue:

i have a minecraft mod (false heaven) made in mcreator for 1.20.1, v 47.3.0. i have a test modpack that is on the exact same version.

however, no matter what i do, it always grants me error code 1 with less than 8 lines of text in the crash logs. it works just fine in Mcreator, no issues i could find or debug. even redo-ing the whole damn project doesn’t work!

drivers are updated to newest version, same with curseforge.

please help! this has been going on for a week!

What you need to do, is download the univ tool, extract it, download the server pack for PW2, extract that as well. Then you need to copy the bat file and the two folders from the universalator folder and paste them in the server pack folder. Then, run the bat file and follow the steps shown

Hello. My sibling was prompted to update their Curseforge since they haven't used it in a while (it was the Halloween one still I believe) and somehow their minecraft instances have had their worlds and resource packs deleted.

Actually I take that back. They updated all their mods in some of the instances (using the update all button), but the one that didn't get updated is fine.

Their mc settings have been reset too it seems. The instances have essentially been reinstalled, cause the log files are gone too

As for the modpacks, they save in a differnt folder then the one the app itself saves too. Reinstalling should be fine.

If you want to be extra safe, click the in the very top right corner of the app > open modding folder > packs are saved in the instances folder

hi guys im trying to play minecraft with mods with the version 1.20.1 but with every mod i try (tried 4) i keep getting the exit code error 1

Error/Exit codes aren't helpful. Follow these steps to receive support.

1. Right-click the modpack profile icon OR click the button in the modpack profile.
2. Click Open Folder.
3. Open the logs folder.
4. Drag and drop the FILE named latest OR debug into Discord.

For some reason my curseforge wont play the modpack i slected. for instance i selected vault hunters for minecraft however when i click play it just does nothing does anyone know why this is ?

I need help - everywhere on my main account it says that my 2FA is enabled and i'm in the program, but when i try to actually transfer the money it either asks me to enable 2FA, or the 2FA authenticator code doesn't work, i looked more into it and i realised that after verifying and setting up the 2FA again with my twitch account, all it did is create another CurseForge account i never asked for and i suppose that's where it thinks i'm trying to verify, i have no idea what the hell is even happening and no clue how to fix this, the problem is so god damn obscure i feel like i've been literally scammed. Can anyone help? did anyone ever run into a simlilar problem before?
i also can't make a ticket because everytime i click the send button, IT SENDS ME TO A PAGE THAT DOESN'T EXIST and i lose everything i filled in the blanks
