hey guys, trying to update my modpack for my server,and my process includes duplicating my modpack in the loader, deleting all of the client mods, then importing.

problem is, since a couple updates ago, it no longer lets me duplicate my modpack profile

it lets me duplicate other ones, just not the important one lol. I've also tried importing my current modpack from a zipfile, only to be told an error occured.

I put off updating curseforge for this exact reason

but it automatically updated while I was in the middle of getting this done, frustratingly. does anybody have any advice, or knowledge as to why this may be happening? would really appreciate anything, thanks!

Hey everyone, I've been trying to troubleshoot a problem regarding the launching of my minecraft launcher from the curseforge app. Ive tried many things including uninstalling curseforge and cant seem to get it to work properly. My curseforge app seems to be working fine but when i press play on one of my packs the minecraft icon just jumps up and down as if its trying to start but never stops. Step five: Export again and check if you have any file in overrides/mods, if the folder doesn't exist then it's all good to be uploaded

How to set Minecraft to use the correct GPU in Windows

If Minecraft will not start then use the tool linked at the bottom!

1. Start the modpack you wish to fix. If it will not start, then click the in the top right of the app then select Run Vanilla Minecraft. In the launcher that opens, go to the Installations tab and choose New Installation. Choose a name and select the Minecraft version of the modpack you are trying to run (like 1.19.4 or 1.7.10). Once created play it by clicking the green Play button that appears when hovering over it in the list of installations.
2. Open Task Manager while Minecraft is running (Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager)
3. Find minecraft in that list. It will be called something like "Java" or "OpenJDK Binary". (tip: sort by ram usage by clicking on the "Memory" tab. Minecraft uses a lot of ram so will be at the top)
4. Right click it and Open File Location
5. Copy the file path from Windows Explorer by clicking into the address bar and pressing Ctrl + C
6. Press and type in GPU, then press Enter to open Graphics Settings
7. Under Graphics performance preference select Desktop App
8. Click Browse
9. Click the address bar and paste in the folder location you copied by pressing Ctrl + V, then press Enter
10. Select the javaw or javaw.exe file from the files in front of you (tip: press J to immediately jump to the files that start with that letter)
11. Once selected, click Add in the bottom right of the window
12. Click the Options button on the newly added option
13. Set it to High performance on the best GPU you have

How to add/remove mods in a modpack:

1. Click on the picture of the modpack.
2. Click the Add More Content button, IF this button is not there, see below before you continue.
3. Find the Mods, Resource Packs or Maps you wish to Install and click Install on them.
4. Wait for all the required mods to be downloaded.
5. Start the modpack.

How to Enable/Disable content management for modpacks:

1. Click on the picture of the modpack.
2. Click on the button next to the Play button.
3. Click on Profile Options.
4. Check the Allow content management for this profile option if you want to edit the content of the modpack, uncheck it to disable.

NOTE: The Allow content management for this profile option is what allows you to Delete, Disable, Update or Install any Mods, Resource Packs or Maps managed by CurseForge. It must be ON to modify any of them! (Currently)

Hi, I access the app everyday and it is on start up. However about every fifth to seventh day, I will notice my theme has changed and I am defaulted back to the ad version. I then realize it is showing me as not subbed. I then click to sub and login with twitch and I am good again for a few days. This is not a major issue, but annoying as I keep having to relog in to not get the adds. I pay for the yearly so its not like its because my charge failed or something like that.
