i try to log in curseforge (yes i got a real minecraft account) and i do the steps, go to the website, place the code, go to my email, get the code n stuff, and it says "you are done! you can safely close this window" and when i close it and go into the curseforge app, it says log in failed please try again

Try clearing your browsers cache/cookies (you do not need to clear passwords or anything just the cache and cookies). Close out browser> reopen and try again (also side question is there a reason you aren't syncd?)

Everytime I try to load any modpack it takes longer than usual, and then when It finishes loading I don’t get the normal homescreen all I see is a white screen

One time I tried clicking on the white screen i heard the noise when you click an option like multiplayer that click but nothing happened

please help, i have two computers. one is for servers, one is for gaming use. i had a atm9 server about 8months ago running on server computer and played with other computer on it. now when i try to open a modpack on server computer i get the error " server_error: The contextID supplied in the request did not have a matching cookie." i tried clear cache in app data and cookies on both microsoft and chrome browser although i hardly use server computer for anything else but 7 days and avorion servers. still no luck. it is weird though. my main computer is showing my xbox account when i sign in but my server computer is showing a brand new account. both use the same log in

Hey. Im new to curseforge so it might be an easy fix but, when ever I load minecraft through curseforge it doesn't load the game, it loads the log but doesn't put anything in it and no matter what I do it just won't work, I tried "repairing installation" and that didn't work, and I tried deleting mods to see if any were broken. hello, I have noticed that Minecraft string dupe does not work on curse forge because of a bug at least so i have bin told, well i have now made a 8 stack iron farm on my modded Minecraft server and i am pretty sure everything is 100% right. what i did change tho is that the block that iron golems spawn on is not a solid block, its glass. I have done some research and everything says that iron golems can spawn on glass and also any non normal block so i dont know the isue. can it be another Curseforge bug?

Hello, I am trying to download curseforge on my linux (ubuntu) computer and I am not sure what is wrong with my download or my process and I have created a situation where I can run the application and get to the log in screen but when I do I find that the application does not log in after the browser says i was successful. If Minecraft will not start then use the tool linked at the bottom!

1. Start the modpack you wish to fix. If it will not start, then click the in the top right of the app then select Run Vanilla Minecraft. In the launcher that opens, go to the Installations tab and choose New Installation. Choose a name and select the Minecraft version of the modpack you are trying to run (like 1.19.4 or 1.7.10). Once created play it by clicking the green Play button that appears when hovering over it in the list of installations.
2. Open Task Manager while Minecraft is running (Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager)
3. Find minecraft in that list. It will be called something like "Java" or "OpenJDK Binary". (tip: sort by ram usage by clicking on the "Memory" tab. Minecraft uses a lot of ram so will be at the top)
4. Right click it and Open File Location
5. Copy the file path from Windows Explorer by clicking into the address bar and pressing Ctrl + C
6. Press and type in GPU, then press Enter to open Graphics Settings
7. Under Graphics performance preference select Desktop App
8. Click Browse
9. Click the address bar and paste in the folder location you copied by pressing Ctrl + V, then press Enter

I have been playing ATM10 on multiplayer for a month with no issues but today when I log into ATM10 through Curseforge it had changed my skin, all my saved data has disappeared and my playerdata id is different. fyi, this is a personal opinion but imho using special characters like ' should be avoided in projects and names. many programs that handle files use special characters for functions and it can break some programs handling of files

yeah it's a bit weird. they don't seem to be interetsed in working on that right now. you can manually point it (the KSP app) to your KSP folder though.

most people right now use the different tool CKAN which you can look up on the web - it's barebones but works well. I'm a KSP player - if you get stuck doing whichever direction you can ask

The simplified steps:

1. Download server pack from curseforge
2. Unzip Server pack
3. Install Universalator, unzip it, and place it in the unzipped server pack folder
4. Place server pack folder in C:\ or any other drive root (It can actually be any non-system folder, but a root is the easiest I've found)
5. Run Universalator.bat (windows defender will try to stop you, click "More Options" then click "Run Anyway"
6. Follow onscreen instructions
