It should be deleting it from the mods folder. Mods can sometimes have odd hiccups where a mod is installed twice for what ever reaosn or the app didnt register the mods correctly.

Or if you delete one mod that uses another file it doesnt delete the other file if I remember right

Still couldn't reproduce the "downloading java runtime" issue.
Created a plain Forge 47.3.0 on MC 1.20.1 instance and for some strange reason it downloads Adoptium OpenJDK 21. It goes in C:\Users\user\curseforge\minecraft\Install\java\Jre_21. It's not used by that instance. The instance instead uses the Microsoft OpenJDK 17 from Minecraft Launcher.
Also tested with the premade modpack "Hardrock TerraFirmaCraft - extreme survival hardcore realistic" that was posted here with the issue earlier.
No settings were changed in the CF App.

Hello everyone. I have a problem with my mod build and I need your help. I was trying to install an add-on to the ProjectE - ProjectExpansion mod. Everything works fine in the local world, but I can't connect to the server. An error pops up, which will be in the screenshot below. I tried to install only ProjectE and its add-on, I was able to connect to the server. It seems there is some kind of conflict of mods that does not allow me to connect. Its not a graceful shutdown like you get when you click the exit world and close game. When you force kill a process it ends it where it was. No saving or anything. So its possible files can become corrupted

If the server doesnt have serverpack files (made by the packs dev), you will have to manually move the files from your client pack to the server, minus any client side only mods.

The simplified steps:

1. Download server pack from curseforge
2. Unzip Server pack
3. Install Universalator, unzip it, and place it in the unzipped server pack folder
4. Place server pack folder in C:\ or any other drive root (It can actually be any non-system folder, but a root is the easiest I've found)
5. Run Universalator.bat (windows defender will try to stop you, click "More Options" then click "Run Anyway"
6. Follow onscreen instructions

Hi! I've gone through two other support servers and was redirected here;

So, I'm trying to work on a Minecraft modpack and it's giving me the Game 1 Exit error code (might be wording that wrong).

I've gone through, removed a few mods that I thought were corrupting it since they showed they were missing another add-on. I figured maybe that would fix it but then it was saying that I was missing the "mods.toml" file. So I reached out to see how to fix that,

It wouldn't run the modpack at all, another public one I had, or a separate personal file. It did run a modpack I personally downloaded from someone else, though. Everything else wouldn't start up.

I'm actually tempted to send you over to curseforge, deleting the install folder shouldn't do anything else. Never had someone delete it and had separate issues pop up before.

Coming back to Curseforge Minecraft after a while, but I'm running into a recurring problem. When I launch a MC mod pack from the curse launcher, the first time, it works. When I try again, lets say the next day, the launcher says it can't log me in, saying to restart the launcher. If I close the launcher and try again, I get a notification that an MC instance is already running. I've tried closing the active MC process, as well as Java instances, but no luck until I restart my computer, and I'm not willing to restart my computer just to play MC. Anyone have any advice on what to do? I checked logs, but the logs don't seem to have anything pre-login.

I am not using the Skip launcher feature. I saw it, but as a beta feature, I'd rather not use it yet. It's the MC launcher that opens, has a loading screen for a while, then gives the error, presumably after a timeout.

As I said, strangely enough, it doesn't happen the first time the CF launcher runs the MC launcher after a boot.
