If you logged in through Twitch, you can change the picture by changing picture on Twitch and then logging out and logging in on CurseForge again.

Might have been, if it was done from scratch. :) But Overwolf bought CurseForge from Twitch a few years back, and then there was only Twitch login available.

So that they've added more login options is a step in the right direction at least. And editing profiles directly on CurseForge is a coming feature.

How to **manually** install a server - **On your own PC**

1. Check if the modpack has a server pack, if it does: use that and skip below.
2. Go to the Forge website http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the Installer for the forge version the pack is using.
3. Run the installer and choose Install server. Do not install to your desktop. Also do not install inside a OneDrive folder.
4. Run the server using the forge.jar. A file called eula.txt will be generated. Open it and change eula=false to eula=true
5. From the Client; Copy the mods folder, config folder, and any other folders needed for the pack to work into the server folder. If the modpack has a server pack, use this instead!
6. Run the server again.
7. Port forward your machine if needed. (Google it)

How to set Minecraft to use the correct GPU in Windows

If Minecraft will not start then use the tool linked at the bottom!

1. Start the modpack you wish to fix. If it will not start, then click the in the top right of the app then select Run Vanilla Minecraft. In the launcher that opens, go to the Installations tab and choose New Installation. Choose a name and select the Minecraft version of the modpack you are trying to run (like 1.19.4 or 1.7.10). Once created play it by clicking the green Play button that appears when hovering over it in the list of installations.
2. Find minecraft in that list. It will be called something like "Java" or "OpenJDK Binary". (tip: sort by ram usage by clicking on the "Memory" tab. Minecraft uses a lot of ram so will be at the top)
3. Right click it and Open File Location
4. Copy the file path from Windows Explorer by clicking into the address bar and pressing Ctrl + C
5. Press and type in GPU, then press Enter to open Graphics Settings
6. Under Graphics performance preference select Desktop App
7. Click Browse
8. Click the address bar and paste in the folder location you copied by pressing Ctrl + V, then press Enter
9. Select the javaw or javaw.exe file from the files in front of you (tip: press J to immediately jump to the files that start with that letter)
10. Once selected, click Add in the bottom right of the window
11. Click the Options button on the newly added option
12. Set it to High performance on the best GPU you have

Somehow the tomato vine in Farmers delight doesn't exist according to it. Try removing optifine first, and if it still doesn't boot, remove Farmer's Delight.

Two ways to share a modpack you made with others

1. Click the Icon for the modpack.
2. Click the button next to play.
3. Click Export.
4. Select the files that should be included.
5. Send the zip to the people that want it! They can follow the instructions in !mc-installpack to install the pack.

:small_blue_diamond: Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone

This option will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to create a new project
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.
6. Select the files that should be included.
7. Open your Project that you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.
8. Wait for Moderation & Sync so it can show up in the client! (See !sync for limitations and !status to learn about the moderation process and how long it will take to approve/decline)

hey! I'm having some issue with curseforge / microsoft in relation to the minecraft launcher - although someone else is asking a question in the other channel so is it okay if i ask here instead?

every time i try to play a mod, and the minecraft launcher pops up, it asks me to sign into my microsoft account. When I do so, I get an error message that says "something went wrong".

I reset the appstore, I uninstalled forge and overworlf and reinstalled it, I reinstalled the mods, and I'm still having the same issue

I'm not sure what else I can do. i really want to play modded :c do i need to install a new version of java or something else? i keep logging out and in but its still not working.

It seems to be using email thats the issue? when i used phone number i didnt get that error message. but when i put in phone number instead, it takes me to someone elses account or profile which is weird so i logged out fully from that

just as a visual example,, this pops up. i sign in with my email. and get this error message instantly

but it only does this through the curseforge launcher

as for your question, it has been done before, but ideally it should still identify itself as a mod (look into forge's lowcodefml modloader).
if you want an example of a similar thing that exists right not, have a look at json things. i believe it doesnt just limit it to addons but rather any mod can include a folder for json things to load
