The current CF version is not allowing me to create New mod packs using older versions of MC. Which was not a problem with the previse versions of CF. This is a problem cause the mods I like using are currently not updated to the current versions.

The path change just changed where CF saves the packs, sometimes when the app is saving to the users folder windows will throw a hissy fit with permissions. So we move the path out of tha folder.

so basicly, it worked before perfectly fine, and then after a long time, azula crashed (i think) and i think something in my files messed up, i checked the logs and it kept telling me all my mods werent able to run anymore. so i removed naturalist which was the one it said was messing up. but then it proceeded to another mod i have. these two mods have worked perfectly before. so i went back to dig in my logs and found out i am missing mods.tolm so i googled what to do and then it told me to click repair installations, which it did and then it told me this

i keep hitting deadends after deadends, im not sure how minecraft files work and i dont want to accidently remove something i dont have to

Arrows to change left and right: technically infinite but it might be better to add intervals of 1, 3, and 5, ect as more get added.

Last two days I've been experiencing CF standalone client going black screen after browsing few dozen mods, making it both distracting and causing me to loose track on what I installed on which instance. trying to log into minecraft/microsoft with the cf launcher and it's failed upwards of 20 times with a different thing breaking every time. how do i fix this

idk if this is more of a problem for this channel or game-support so toss me over there if that's a better place

so far we've got

• "Login failed. Please try again."
• plug password into the microsoft popup tab, it immediately decides my "connection has been reset". sometimes fixes itself with a refresh, other times it just decides it doesn't want to work. my internet connection is perfectly stable
• "Login failed. Minecraft profile could not be found." only happened once, which is stupid because i made sure at least twice that i was getting into the correct microsoft account
• 0 error message but it still doesn't log me in
  top one's the most common by far

and i've tried

• updating both windows and java because i was also having problems with vanilla minecraft (which were fixed)
• changing my default browser
• logging out and back into minecraft's vanilla launcher

this also just seems to be a recurring trend where microsoft claims the login went through just fine on the browser page, but when i tab back into curseforge, "Login failed. Please try again."

update: the problem was in the "skip the launcher" thing. i switched it back to go through the minecraft launcher as an intermediate step and it finally let me into the game... but that brings me back to my issue from before i started having problems with microsoft

Hi all - super weird issue on Mac that full reinstall of CF and Minecraft (and java) didn't solve. Basically, no matter what version of MC I specify for the modpack, the launcher only shows Latest Release 1.21 in the installation selector. Obviously normally that's where you'll see the forge instance that CF is loading instead. Any ideas? The issue manifested I think with the latest update of CF. My other computers in the house on the older version don't have this issue.

How to Enable/Disable content management for modpacks:

1. Click on the picture of the modpack.
2. Click on the button next to the Play button.
3. Click on Profile Options.
4. Check the Allow content management for this profile option if you want to edit the content of the modpack, uncheck it to disable.

NOTE: The Allow content management for this profile option is what allows you to Delete, Disable, Update or Install any Mods, Resource Packs or Maps managed by CurseForge. It must be ON to modify any of them! (Currently)

its not really regarding towards curseforge specificaly but i have a lot of mods and when i press 6 my elytra gets replaced with my armor and vice versa, anyone know what mod this could be?

Sounds like a keybind. Check your controls and see if 6 is bound to more than 1 thing

How to get your profile logs on CurseForge for support

1. Right-click the modpack profile icon OR click the button in the modpack profile.
2. Click Open Folder.
3. Open the logs folder.
4. Drag and drop the FILE named latest OR debug into discord.
