Lan and Modded MC has never worked all that well, as Minecraft's LAN was really only built to support Vanilla. Modded introduces a lot more files that may need to be synced per player, this can be taxing on a lan connection, due to the host needing to work double time (or more depending on player count)

Easiest fix: make a local server and join it !mc-installserver OR rent/find a server online to join.

yesterday I was using curseforge just fine, shut down my pc and booted it up today, and I noticed curseforge could not be opened, and after I digged some more into the files overwolf and curseforge just completely dissapeared, any idea on why this happened?

Shaders are not like texture packs, they are not supported by minecraft by default. They need a mod to load them

Sometimes AVs remove the apps for whatever reason, just need to reinstall them and should be good

ah I see what happened, your old folder was in onedrive, which is well known to break games. So the app fixed itself. You can find your old instance in C:\Users\joema\OneDrive\Documents\curseforge\minecraft\Instances\

All you need to do is close the CF app then copy the folders from the old instances folder to the new one.
C:\Users\joema\curseforge\minecraft\instances

This is a mac issue, macs have a stupid feature that auto unzips zip files on download. Youll either need to google how to disable that on your mac and re-download the file

Open the folder of the pack you want to download > zip the 2 manifest files and the overrides folder in a zip > then import that
