Once the .zip file has finished downloading, select "Create Custom Profile" on the client. (found next to "My Modpacks" and "Browse Modpacks")

No worries, try downloading a new zip, don't name the profile anything and go straight to import. I don't see why it works for me and not others, but wanted to see if I could get more info.

If it helps the main difference is the browser you use.
I use Firefox & 7zip, though I don't see how/why that would cause a difference in the import!

Completely close out of Curseforge

• You can do this by either forcing the task close in Task Manager (Right Click on Task bar > Task Manager > Find Curseforge Process > End OR Closing it through your System Tray > That little up arrow on the bottom right with tons of icons in it (Yes it has a purpose!) You can Right click the Curseforge Icon and Select Exit

Go to your appdata you can access this by
Windows key + R > %appdata%
Or go to this path in File Explorer C:\Users(UserName)\AppData\Roaming

Find the Curseforge folder > Rename to .old

Relaunch Curseforge
