Changing Java version for installing Forge

1. Download and install this
2. Open CurseForge and click the in the bottom left corner.
3. Go to the Minecraft tab and scroll down to "Java version used for installing Forge modloader"
4. Click Select
5. In the file explorer window that opens, click on This PC, then Windows (C:)
6. Open the Program Files folder, then the Java folder, then the jdk-17.0.3.1 folder, then the bin folder.
7. Click on javaw.exe, then confirm it with Open, in the bottom right of file explorer.
8. Follow the instructions from !mc-installfix (if your internet is slow the instructions from !mc-updatemodloader work but need to be done on every broken profile)

Having a look at this, seems the pack has other issues as well. Not just a missing file issue

@radiant meteor Ok so the latest most file for the pack is having issues as well. That will be sent to support. The version you are downloading is actually the second latest version. For now will give you a temp fix.

Step 1: Download pack version V20.60.04 from the site https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/clovers-modpack-additions/files/3345010

Step 2: Open the zip file and delete the manifest.json file
Step 3: Download the manifest.json file I have attached
Step 4: Put the new manifest file in the zip folder
Step 5: Import the pack into the cf app in the + Create Custom Profile > Import (at the top)

Two ways to share a modpack you made with others

1. Click the Icon for the modpack.
2. Click the button next to play.
3. Click Export.
4. Select the files that should be included.
5. Send the zip to the people that want it! They can follow the instructions in !mc-installpack to install the pack.

This option will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to create a new project
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.
6. Select the files that should be included.
7. Open your Project that you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.
8. Wait for Moderation & Sync so it can show up in the client! (See !sync for limitations and !status to learn about the moderation process and how long it will take to approve/decline)

Cracked clients tend to authenticate with pirated servers. Not with Mojang. So what may see fine, what your really doing is you just gave the hackers your Microsoft account email and password. They can do anything they want with that info.

Well recommend you uninstall any hacked clients.

Run a malware and virsu scan to make sure they dont have any extra hooks in your pc (if a hacker can access your pc, they can and will access others on your network)

And lastly change any passwords connected to your Microsoft account. As all that is now compromised

Hi, I've been trying to fix this issue for the past two days, but I haven't found a solution for it. During the installation of modpack, the whole process stops, sometimes at 16 mod and sometimes on 200 mod. Everything was working fine before I formatted my computer. I'm patient, but even after a few hours, nothing is moving. My internet is fine, and I've reinstalled CF a few times, and I reset my computer after the repair installation. I also tried changing installation folders, but the issue persists. I tried the method of importing the zip mod folder to launcher and installing directly from the launcher. In both cases, it's the same. Please help 🙏

hey everyone i made a new server to play with some friends, i added the mods i would like to the server it was only about 10 mods, but everytime i try and launch minecraft 1.16.5 with my mod profile i get exit error 1, ive tried changing the modloader version to an older one and i was able to get past the exit 1 error. but it would tell me i need to run a newer version of the modloader. so i tried to delete the mods that needed the newer version of the modloader since it wasnt working to see if that would fix it. And it went back to giving me the exit error 1? any suggestions?

So, ive been having issues in 1.8.9 where my mouse "skips"? And after looking into it i found a youtube video from antvenom that explains that it has something to do with lwjgl and how it detects mouse movements or something something. 2. Click Open Folder.

does anyone know the fix for when you load curse forge, you pick your desired modpack, click launch then you're forever stuck on a grey window? ive tried everything from restarting the machine, to uninstalling the game and launcher aswell as searching for courrpted files and checking anti virus blockers and this has only occured since i updated my gforce game driver to play the modern warfare 3 campaign but theres no way thats the reason for the effect is it?

but the fix is to update your pack forge version

How to update your mod loader within the same game version in the CurseForge app

1. Click on the modpack profile you are working with.
2. Click on the button next to the play button.
3. Click on the Profile Options button.
4. Select the mod loader version you want from the dropdown.
5. Play!

If you need to update to a new game version, a new profile is required.

I just lost the Curseforge app, gone. Noticed the shortcut looked odd and it turned out there was nothing to be found from following it.
