Hey guys, my friend is having trouble running any version of minecraft with forge installed. It says there was an exception access violation detected by the java runtime environment. This happens in every forge version we've tested, even creating a custom profile and just having forge installed. Running vanilla minecraft through curseforge works fine. How do we fix this?

It sounds like your friend is having an issue with Java itself, and not forge.
They should look into reinstalling Java

Hi, minecraft wont start anymore (since today). I didnt change anything. Trying to start a modpack or vanilla minecraft via CF leads to the error:

I'm so confused. I'm talking about the Minecraft Forge Server that I built. I download the forge installer from minecraftforge.net and install my client and my server. The website has the forge logo on it. Is it not the same place? I know CurseForge is the mod loader, but it can only load mods to the right kind of Forge Server. So I'm not sure where I'm supposed to go to get help with it.

The CF app uses a copy of the Official launcher from Mojang, so it is using Mojangs authentication servers. You havent provided the info I have been asking for to know if its a server issue OR something funky is going on.
So options are, provide what I have asked for OR have your parents contact microsoft support.

Recently I saw that there was an update for forge MC that allows you to play offline, but when I launched my modpack offline it just said that the forge jar file didn't exist. Overwolf is an app, which is basically an app framework, that allows people to create apps that can integrate with things that Overwolf supports.
Standalone is.. standalone, basically, it's CurseForge, but it doesn't require Overwolf installed as well.
On linux, the standalone version doesn't support Minecraft yet.

I have an error / bug when I open the CurseForge launcher, by itself, the icons of the packages are not visible and the Modpacks Explorer does not work, has this happened to anyone else? And if so, do you know how to fix it?

Im not sure if this is the place to ask, but, i used to have an account with you guys at Curseforge before, and it wasnt with twitch as far as i know, but no matter how i try i couldnt log in at all with anything but twitch the other day.

hello there, i keep getting this popup when i try to install any mods on curse forge, i am connected to wifi, and can see the mod list update while serching for new content, however i cant download from curse forge and has to manually download. i dont know why this happend as curseforges been good to me untill now

I'm a bit confused. I was playing minecraft an hour ago. I had my modpacks downloaded all working fine. Just launched curseforge to find out that all my modpacks were deleted along with my saves and there's a new "Browse Mods" alpha tab. Did something happen in the last hour or so that could cause this?

I'm having a difficult time with getting my game connected to CurseForge to find mods with it, I downloaded the Sims 4 with the EA app I don't know if that's what makes it not work or not but I even tried to use the "search computer for games" it doesn't work. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or not. (p.s I've been trying to fix this for an hour or so.)

Hey we're having serious issues with working with curseforge, anytime we try to boot up the game with vanilla or any mods on curseforge it crashes and we get this error message:

That is.. a good question, that I don't have an answer to. Maybe @agile storm can give us an better answer for that. ^^
Because right now, when you sign in with any other service, it will connect to the same account, if they share the same email address.
Don't take my word for it though, I'm just a volunteer. :)
