You can bypass the issue by using another launcher for now. GDLauncher, ATlauncher, and others. This is only an issue for Curseforge because they use Mojangs launcher.

Since the "official" messaging in this discord is a mess at best:

The problem: Mojang/Microsoft released a launcher update that breaks how Curseforge handles modpacks. The issue has been reported to Mojang/Microsoft already, you can see it here (https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCL-22685)

The Solution: Currently Curseforge is looking into a solution by forcing an older launcher version. There is no official solution available at this time. As a user work around you can do Repair Installation every time you want to run a modpack. This means you will have to log in every time also.

I would also offer a warning, however, that it would be best to wait for this to be fixed by either Mojang/Microsoft or Curseforge before running ANY modpack beacuse the modpack's configs may be broken which could lead to irreparable issues with your save.

Make backups of anything you wish to keep intact before messing with anything!

Hey guys, it seems the mod I worked on for DrBlockheadMC as been rejected for the name MC in it, VoyagerMC, but there are many mods out there with it on, I am sure he's missed something out and since I am down as owner of the mod page could anyone clear this up with me what's up with the name VoyagerMC I am half asleep so I don't understand why it's been requested and since he put in the ticket I can't see it, I just like someone to clear it up why there some out there with MC and even Minecraft in there name and we can't use it when Voayger meets Minecraft aka VoyagerMC?

hey i was getting exit code -1 on trying to load up enigmatica 2 from the curse forge launcher and then from the Xbox launcher thing so i uninstalled and reinstalled minecraft launcher and the folders for the modpacks i had are still in curse forge folder >minecraft>instances but when i change the minecraft modding folder to use the curse forge folder or the instances folder it didn't have the modpacks in the my modpacks area also it still whouldnt work and gave me an exit code 1 when i got it to install enigmatica 2 without changeimng the install location

i made a a modpack with 57 mods on the curseforge launcher and when i tried to launch it, the minecraft launcher loaded and the launcher disappeared like usual, but the game didn't start. i guess you could say that the launcher disappeared and that the game didn't start. ive tried to reinstall java and the curseforge launcher and i've changed the ram to the highest in the curseforge minecraft settings. i did also delete the install folder in my curseforge files and reinstalled it and made a new modpack reinstalling all mods but it still doesn't work. any solutions to what might be wrong?

When launching a minecraft game from the curse forge/overwolf launcher like I have in the past, I get the following message "the remote certificate is invalid according to validation procedure". Also comes up when I try to download another mod pack.
I even tried the FTB app and am also unable to download a mod pack. Tried the fix profile as mentioned above and still having problems.

How does the curseforge app search because no matter how I try to search my mod The Little Tweaks it never finds it in the first few pages what makes no sense when I giving it the full name

so i had to force close all and reopen

So, i made a modpack for my server on curseforge, i made a mistake during a update "had to change the geckolib version to make another mod work properly" so i did this instead of posting a new file,

i then decided to delete the previous version and repost it with the right versions

So now i have NO FILES, at all, on my project, all the stuff was either rejected or deleted. but now i cant post it again because it gets auto rejected for being "identical" to another file, problem is.

there is no other versions or files on the pack currently.

and the file wasent identical, it changed some versions

So now i cant post at all.

I think you need to remove those mods since its incompatible with the mods you have right now since if I remember crash 1 is when you have incompatible mod either with the launcher or with the other mods
