I understand that is an option, thank you. I was wondering if there is any policy on Curse's end that allows taking over (or even just being added as a maintainer) to a Curse project. I have full access to the github source, but to release, I have to use the owners API token with the Curse API to upload a new release which is cumbersome and probably has some security concerns.

I will of course be attempting to contact the owner (havent had much luck so far) to resolve this without any Curse support, but was just curious if there was a policy before I have to go down the forking route

So it's probably the search algorithm that the website uses (as it doesn't use the API), that is unable to find it for some reason

okay i'm running into a shit ton of issues here:
whenever i change a version of a mod and i go back to the mod list, nearly every single mod on the list plus ones previously deleted show up and beg for an update
i have to forcibly enable output logs every time i launch minecraft because the curse setting isn't working
the mods page forces me to use an old AF release for a mod instead of what i set it to prefer (alpha)
whenever i update a mod and go back to the mod list, it shows up as an older version visibly on the launcher and the file itself has changed

I'm having a very strange issue with the CurseForge app and downloading modpacks specific to 1.16.5. I want to play Better MC PLUS, and I can download Better MC in later versions (1.18, 1.19) but not 1.16.5. It won't let me download even a single mod from that game version, giving me a JNI error.

The latest version is already installed. Is this something that has an easy answer or requires some sort of ticket?

If your getting an error when clicking repair installation show it. The forge error you get when creating a profile the fix is repair installation, your not the first with this error. Ive seen it before. That is the fix

Hi there! Ive posted multiple Minecraft texture packs to curseforge, but for the first time my pack is saying it's rejected because it's "not a valid texture or resource pack" ?? Can someone explain what sets this off? I'm literally using it in game right now, so I don't know what checks it's valid...
EDIT: just noticed I didn't clarify this... but it's the most barebones texture pack their is. Only block textures and json files. I dont think there's a single thing blacklisted in there?

Hi, I'm having an issue where when I load up a Minecraft pack, it loads the Minecraft launcher but clicking play doesn't load anything up. There's no Antivirus on the PC and I've tried disabled firewalls and such to no luck. I've also tried to reinstall both minecraft and curseforge, updating graphics drivers, reinstalling Java and tried other packs but they all do the same thing. :))

2. Click Open Folder.
3. Open the logs folder.
4. Drag and drop the FILE named latest OR debug into discord.

1. Click on the Minecraft Tab on the Left side of the CurseForge App.
2. Click button next to the Create Custom Profile option.
3. Click Repair Installation option.
4. Play game.

NOTE: You will not lose any modpacks or worlds!

How to get the launcher log

1. Right click a modpack / profile.
2. Select Open Folder
3. Go back two folders.
4. Open the Install folder.
5. Drag the launcher_log.txt into discord.
