trying to join a friend server on cursedforge but the game says this server has mods that required fml/forge to be installed on the client.I tried reinstalling cursedforged and the modpack to no avail.

Storage space doesn't mean RAM. You shouldn't set ram that high without a specific reason. 6gb should run most packs.
Your issue is storage space, specifically on the C drive. You need at least 10gb of storage space on the drive available.

How to set Minecraft to use the correct GPU in Windows.

1. Open the CF settings.
2. Open the Minecraft Tab.
3. Click Change.
4. Click in the address bar where it says "This PC".
5. Push CTRL+C to copy the text that is highlighted.
6. Close the Select a folder window.
7. Click the on the taskbar.
8. Type in gpu, you should see a Graphics Settings option, click it.
9. Under Graphics performance preference select Desktop App.
10. Click Browse.
11. In the address bar where it says This PC, click it.
12. Push CTRL+V to paste in the location you got in step #4-5.
13. Hit enter.
14. Now open the Install folder from the list that shows up.
15. Open the runtime folder.
16. Click in the Search runtime box in the top left and put javaw.exe in it.
17. Select the first javaw.exe in the list.
18. Click Add on the bottom of the window.
19. Click the Options button on the newly added option.
20. Set it to High performance on best GPU you have.
21. Repeat steps #10-20 until all the javaw.exe options are listed in the Graphics settings window.

You could just write a message in the description saying you will no longer be maintaining the mod. If you really need it to be hidden for some reason you go into the file page and click archive.

Yeah, you gotta wait for someone from CurseForge/Overwolf to take a look at these errors (they get online for support again tomorrow, in like.. 23 hours).
Looks like the problem exists when it tries to call their servers, because of some component not being able to be opened properly.

You could try to do a clean slate reinstallation, where you reinstall both Overwolf and CurseForge. Let me fetch that link.

Export and Share - For Friends to Small Groups.

Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone.

This options will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.

Hello, when I try to upload the server version of my modpack, the file is being rejected from curseforge because /libraries/commons-logging/commons-logging/1.2/commons-logging-1.2.jar needs to be replaced with the current version, but that file is being added by the most current forge server installer. How do I get an updated version of it? Thanks for any help.

You require an already uploaded export file to upload a server pack!

1. Make the server pack by zipping up the required files by selecting the required folders & files. It should include the config and mod folders at a minimum, plus anything else you specifically required to run the server. Start/Run/Setup scripts are optional. Don't include modloader files or the minecraft server jar.
2. Go to the Files tab on the project.
3. Click the name of the file you wish to upload the server pack to. The pack and server should match pack versions.
4. Click Upload Additional File.
5. Fill out the form.

I've been using the standalone Curseforge app for the past few days. I like it. A couple of items:

1. The standalone app is a little slower than using the Overwolf app + Curseforge plugin when refreshing WoW addons, both when starting up and when cycling update checks. Anywhere from a few seconds to almost a minute slower.
2. I cannot find a "Start with Windows" option. It may not be there, or I may have missed it; either way, I don't see such a thing.

Regardless, I am very glad this exists, even in an alpha build.

Beacuse deleting it doesn't actually delete it. You can make a ticket to reopen the project. In the future just toggle the option. There is no reason that I know of that you'd need to delete the project to fix.

Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone.

This options will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
