My 1.19.2 mod-pack is not working as intended.
- When launched, an older version of the mod and Minecraft runs, as if it's referencing a different modpack file from my project instead.

Ah, I believe I've discovered an output error log I did not see the first time: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
This error happens after selecting the newer Modpack version and downloading/installing it. It then reverts the modpack version to whichever was originally selected.

Hello! I am having problems when I use curseforge to run mc modpacks and I'm not sure why. Whenever I play regular minecraft or use other launchers such as ATLauncer or FTB Launcher I get around 500 FPS and no performance issues. However, on CurseForge, which is much better and has way more modpacks to choose from, I constantly lag and my screen tears and I get many performance issues. I am lost and don't know what to do.

I have had the curseforge app for over six months now. I'm using Mac OS Monterry. After being directed to the curseforge app while trying to download a Minecraft pack, the app opened and proceeded to give me the "oops, something went wrong error". My internet connection is fine as I can use other launchers without issues. The app version is 0.204.1-1. In the past it has stopped certain Minecraft packs, but it has never given me this type of error that just doesn't resolve. Should I try re-installing Curseforge?

I wanted to upload my new Modpack. I also had Serverfiles for it. Since i find it very annoying the make these everytime i want to play with my friends, I wanted to upload mine to help others who dont know how to create these.
But it got deleted a few minutes after upload.
Where can i find information about why it got deleted. What rules do i have to follow for server files (I did not find any information regarding server files)? is there a special location i had to put it in?

I've managed to download one modpack profile on my new computer, and it just stops working afterwards, which is frustrating. No other modpacks are downloading. I liked how user friendly curseforge is, but if it's not working, I'll have to use another service for designing and launching mod profiles

Also medieval MC might have been the one with the ridiculous problem who put a non Unicode character in their pack name. If so rename your pack folder and try again

Hi y'all. I'm having a few issues using minecraft with curseforge app on macOS. The first issue I encountered lead me to attempt a reinstall. Since I first attempted reinstalling about an hour ago, I have been getting stuck on this screen (see photo below). After getting stuck here for 5-10 minutes I tried restarting the app, my device, and even uninstalling, restarting my device, and re-installing both the app and minecraft itself. None of these things have solved the issue. I also attempted to add minecraft to curseforge via the scan for games feature, and the + button next to "game specific" in settings, but that didn't seem to work either. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks

Sounds like you got some nasty software on your pc cause the CF app exports zips.
If you uninstall whatever adds that file format, it should fix it.

Some internet certificates for downloading forge changed, and so the java that cf used previosuly wasnt new enough. There was an update that fixed that however it requires cleaning the install directory, which the above does

How does the search work in the Launcher and on the Curseforge website? Very often even the copied title does not work. There is nothing wrong with the profile, the name is also correct. On the site search works, but a similar search in the launcher shows some completely different mods.
Also not here in screenshots, but search also reacts to spaces between words. For example, try searching for ItemZoom and Item Zoom. The result will be completely different.

the system behind each search bar is entirely different. don't even get me started about what happens if you include 'the' at the beginning of name 🙄

The app searches each word then returns all results (and by default sorts by popularity), so if you include popular words like 'the' or 'ender' less popular mods can get really bogged down
You can copy the project id from the site and paste it into the search bar to get a specific mod if you really can find it

I would just be insanely happy if I did not have to manually download mods from the site to move them into the launcher folder and add to the modpack. It looks like a bug or a flaw. I sent a ticket to Overwolf tech support as well.
Yes, the id search works and takes you straight to the mod page. Although it is still very strange for the user. 😏
The problem is that when you search by copied name, a mods is not in the list at all. I think it makes more sense to prioritize searching by name. Because even when I do sort "by name" it doesn't change anything. Just to clarify: In the search shows me only these 5 options, and below there is nothing.
