Hi ! I have an issue with (seemingly) curse forge 🤔
So, when i play vanilla minecraft, or even personally modded, i do not have this issue at all
but whenever i load a modpack on curge forge (be it pixelmon or rlcraft) this weird issue happens where, for the first couple minutes the audio is perfectly fine, then, out of nowhere just cutoff
no sound, no nothing
there's no transition i go from hearing the game fine to absolute silence
I have tested on a completly different computer in a different place (at my workplace, don't question it ) and the same issue happens ! ):
i've tried F3+S/T
i've tried unplugging my headphones, using new ones,
I've tried muting/unmuting the game
my sounds settings are on 100% be it for the game or my computer
i don't get it
and it only happens with curseforge really 🤔

having "Minecraft" in project names was never technically allowed, but before Curseforge transitioned over to ownership by Overwolf, Twitch staff stopped enforcing rules leading to the current situation where many projects do have Minecraft or some similar term in the name. Overwolf didn't want to do anything about the old project names, but stopped allowing new ones leading to much confusion in the community. Technically this change still isn't far enough.

How to add/remove mods in a modpack.

1. Click on the picture of the modpack.
2. Click the Add More Content button, IF this button is not there, see below before continuing.
3. Find the Mods, Resource Packs or Maps you wish to Install and click Install on them.
4. Wait for all the required mods to be downloaded.
5. Start the modpack.

How to Enable/Disable content management for modpacks.

1. Click on the picture of the modpack.
2. Click on the button next to the Play button.
3. Click on Profile Options.
4. Check the Allow content management for this profile option if you want to edit the content of the modpack, uncheck it to disable.

NOTE: The Allow content management for this profile option is what allows you to Delete, Disable, Update or Install any Mods, Resource Packs or Maps managed by CurseForge. It must be on to modify any of them! (Currently)

How to set Minecraft to use the correct GPU in Windows.

1. Open the CF settings.
2. Open the Minecraft Tab.
3. Click Change.
4. Click in the address bar where it says "This PC".
5. Push CTRL+C to copy the text that is highlighted.
6. Close the Select a folder window.
7. Click the on the taskbar.
8. Type in gpu, you should see a Graphics Settings option, click it.
9. Under Graphics performance preference select Desktop App.
10. Click Browse.
11. In the address bar where it says This PC, click it.
12. Push CTRL+V to paste in the location you got in step #4-5.
13. Hit enter.
14. Now open the Install folder from the list that shows up.

Error/Exit codes are useless. Follow these steps so someone can actually help you.

1. Right-click the modpack profile icon OR click the button in the modpack profile.
2. Click Open Folder.
3. Open the logs folder.
4. Drag and drop the FILE named latest OR debug into discord.

Whenever I try to upload a mod file to my project for Minecraft it says that the file upload was successful and then when I click "submit file" it loads for a bit then shows the cloudflare page that says "your computer connection successful, cloudflare successful but an error from curseforge.com". It also uploads 2 of the same file even though I click submit file only once and I havent spam uploaded files either.

Hello, so I have this issue that when I open "forge-1.18.2-40.1.68-installer.jar" and select "install server" it just downloads normally but eventually when I open the folder which I installed the server in instead of a jar document there is a "run" batch. Is there a way that I can fix this?

I am only going to need to say this once.

Word generation uses alot of Ram. so if i set the ram to a number i want then that is the number i want minecraft to run at. Simple statement. I dont want to over clock my Ram I want to keep it at a balanced amount witch is between 2800 and 3400 MB. So if the ram is being set higher then this. i am over working my ram. if it is set lower then the requested. then Mods and Texture packs have a hard time running. meaning i might as well play vanilla.

So maybe someone can shine some light on a Question for me:
I have been making my own Modpack on Curseforge to be used with Docker and Portainer. I am using the itzg minecraft server image for that.
Now I have been looking at some other modpacks and they seem to have dedicated Modpacks for the Server and the Client.
When using the Curseforge App you only export for client.
Can someone point me to how I upload the proper Server version of my modpack?
Or can I just use the client modpack as is when I don't need anything changed in the configs?

You require an already uploaded export file to upload a server pack!

1. Make the server pack by zipping up the required files by selecting the required folders & files. Don't include modloader files or the minecraft server jar.
2. Go to the Files tab on the project.
3. Click the name of the file you wish to upload the server pack to. The pack and server should match pack versions.

Um. I'm sick and just wanna play some modded Minecraft. I press play, it says something like "dll load error not present" and then an additional message how my Minecraft could be corrupted and to reinstall it (but I have done that twice). So. And it only happens with Curse Forge.

If your talking about the Vanilla launcher from the .minecraft folder > The CF app doesnt use that launcher. It uses its own copy

Be sure your Doing Repair Installation as well, If your clicking Repair profile your in the wrong menu

How to install mods in CurseForge App.

1. Click + Create Custom Profile
