any ideas on how to manually fix an arrayindexoutofbounds error? was importing a base from a vanilla world into a modded world and I just dragged over the region files but because of the changed dimension heights it spams that error and runs at like 11 fps.

it limits your options for sure but maybe instead of removing jei just rename mods by sets of 5 and then load into a NEW SUPERFLAT WORLD and check to see if the items show up untill you find the problem mod

by rename I mean edit the extension from .jar to .jar.disabled

Hi, I've come here to hopefully fix a very annoying bug I've had for a bit over a year and had no luck in getting it fixed.
My sensitivity in modded minecraft in curseforge randomly spikes. This only happens in curseforge and nowhere else, so I'm wondering if there's some sort of settings or something that is preventing it.
I've tried enabling and disable pointer precision, restarting, reinstalling CurseForge completely, changing polling rate, and nothing seems to be fixing this

Wording is important!

Forge = Minecraft Forge, This is a modloader often just called "Forge".
Fabric = Fabric MC, this is another modloader, just called "Fabric".
CurseForge = A Website/App that has content for games.
Mods = Individual mod files.
Modpacks = Multiple mods put into the mods folder or downloaded from CurseForge.

These are not Interchangeable! Please use the correct terms as it allows us to help you faster!

Having a right mare today

Trying to figure out why vanilla is missing from my modpack, decided I would keep the mods in the folder that I know are not the issue because theyre on another modpack I play.

Minecraft then started crashing with error 1. I reinstalled Forge, Java and Minecraft and did my driver update.

Logged back into Forge - modpack is missing!! Luckily, I had a backup, so I have reloaded it.

Minecraft STILL crashing.. WTF?!

seems simple, remove mods until it works. adding mods to packs is usually a bad idea.

I understand, it does work fine without the added mods (Flywheel, Create, and Create Confectionary) but it is for a friend's server so I need them. It is working for everyone else on the server, just me having issues.

besides the crash-report.txt also look in your latest.log file and the vanilla MC launcher_log.txt - sometimes the answer is lurking in one of those and the crash report is just resulting jibberish

How to **manually** install a server - **On your own PC**

1. Check if the modpack has a server pack, if it does: use that and skip below.
2. Go to the Forge website http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the Installer for the forge version the pack is using.
3. Run the installer and choose Install server. Do not install to your desktop. Also do not install inside a OneDrive folder.
4. Run the server using the forge.jar. A file called eula.txt will be generated. Open it and change eula=false to eula=true
5. From the Client; Copy the mods folder, config folder, and any other folders needed for the pack to work into the server folder. If the modpack has a server pack, use this instead!
6. Run the server again.
7. Port forward your machine if needed. (Google it)

Hey guys, I hope this is the good place 🙂

I have a Minecraft server (last Forge version) with around 80 mods. And everything's fine except that sometimes there is one long tick duration. In average TPS is at 20 because it catches up the delay. Nevertheless every 5/10 seconds the long tick duration is visible and annoying.

Do you have any clue how I can deal with that please? 🙂
Just for information, this is a fresh server, it has probably nothing to see with entities

Hey actually I am always less than half the available memory (I am using Spark, the mod, to check that)
But I tried something, I changed the hosting service from Shockbyte to Sparked (not to be confused with the mod)
And I was at 80+% CPU usage with Shockbyte and now I am around 10/20%... Speechless

As shockbyte does not provide any information on CPU I assume they just put servers in concurrence on same threads

There are two ways to share a modpack you've made with others...

Export and Share - For Friends to Small Groups.

1. Click the Icon for the modpack.
2. Click the button next to play.
3. Click Export.
4. Select the files that should be included.
5. Send the zip to the people that want it! They can follow the instructions in !mc-installpack to install the pack!

Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone.

This options will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to here: https://www.curseforge.com/project/432/4471/create
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.
6. Select the files that should be included.
7. Open your Project you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.
8. Wait for Moderation & Sync so it can show up in the client! (See !sync for limitations)

Hello, i got a bit of a problem. for a lot of you its not a problem but for me it is. so basically when i open a newly installed minecraft modpack, it goes well: i click play, and it loads nearly instantly. however, when i open it a second time and every time afterwards, it says it needs to load additional content (usually it says ar 4 mb, but its not: the loading bar for some reason extends over the main screen and loads from 16mb to 20mb). has anyone experienced this problem? if so, let me know how to fix it, i'll be gladly thankful.
