When I launch a Modpack, I can see java appears in the task manager but no game launchs.
Last time this happened I completely uninstalled java, curseforge an Modpack reinstalled it and it still didn't work. A few days later it worked again.

Yes, Dust can cause a lot of problems in pcs. Not just to ram but cpu, psu, and anything else it can reach. Cleaned out one pc that had some "slightly burnt" areas due to dust

Ok, so When you ran the forge.jar it should have also created a mods folder in your servers folder. You would put all the mods you want in that folder

If you double clicked the Forge-x.x.x.x.jar file it would have opened a server window, and then either closed itself or needed to be closed. During this a Eula.txt file would have been created

So in my case my Java is saved in my C drive, so C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_281 is my java 8

There are also mods that overhaul villagers and best of all thanks to MineColonies, you are able to build HUGE civilizations in the modpack, and you can also setup many factories too, to make this the ULTIMATE civilization builder in minecraft. Right-click the modpack profile icon OR click the button in the modpack profile.
Click Open Folder.
Open the logs folder.
