How to **manually** install a server - **On your own PC**

1. Go to the Forge website http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the Installer for the forge version the pack is using.
2. Run the installer and choose Install server. Do not install to your desktop. Also do not install inside a OneDrive folder.
3. Run the server using the forge.jar. A file called eula.txt will be generated. Open it and change eula=false to eula=true
4. From the Client; Copy the mods folder, config folder, and any other folders needed for the pack to work into the server folder. If the modpack has a server pack, use this instead!
5. Run the server again.

If you 2 are on the same network, you can make a local server on one of the pcs and connect to that. Lan can be iffy with mods.

How to **manually** install a server - **On your own PC**

1. Go to the Forge website http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the Installer for the forge version the pack is using.
2. Run the installer and choose Install server. Do not install to your desktop. Also do not install inside a OneDrive folder.
3. Run the server using the forge.jar. A file called eula.txt will be generated. Open it and change eula=false to eula=true
4. From the Client; Copy the mods folder, config folder, and any other folders needed for the pack to work into the server folder. If the modpack has a server pack, use this instead!
5. Run the server again.

Does anyone know why whenever I load a single world my game begins to have a stroke and I barely installed 50 mods? I'm going to guess it's an older 1.7.10 mod causing issues with newer ones due to class names changing. As it's crashing in the initial setup of the core mods.

Try removing galacticraft first. If that doesn't work start taking out more and more mods till it does work.

Hey, I'm attempting to run a new to me pack, The Final Frontier 2, and it keeps crashing on launch with 6.5gb of ram. Log is coming in a second

Thoughts? I can run other packs

That's weird. I launch it from the minecraft launcher, the red loading screen comes up for about 2 seconds, then it closes

1. Click on the Minecraft Tab on the Left side of the App.
2. Click button next to the Create Custom Profile option.
3. Click Repair Installation option.
4. Play game.

NOTE: You will not lose any modpacks or worlds, These are saved in the Instances folder. DO NOT TOUCH THIS FOLDER OR YOU WILL LOSE EVERYTHING

I launched it using one version older of forge and it appears to be launching now

Whenever i run my modpack on minecraft

It lets me run the pack, everything launches fine

then as soon as i hit create world

again everything works fine, the world creates fine

as soon as it places me in the world it crashes and minecraft java closes

all the logs say is "testing environment detected, stopping server"

i don't understand why it's doing this

i've already re-created the profile

multiple times

and each time it does this

I can send logs - does anyone have any idea what mod could be causing this.

Where to find the log on the CurseForge Client.

Right-click the modpack profile icon OR click the button in the modpack profile.
Click Open Folder.
Open the logs folder.
Find the file called latest.log and drag it into discord.

I would first start by removing all [main/ERROR] first, those are likely to be the cause of the issue. You'll just have to read the line to figure out the mod

And next time, if you're gonna delete something, might want to clarify as to why when you delete it. Because "spam" is completely subjective. I would've agreed had it been to like 3-4 channels. I posted it to one for what I saw as "official" support, and one that I saw as "community" support. Two different bodies for support, similar purpose, question could be answered by either.

Hello, so on my friend's forge server, whenever a player is given the operator status, we get kicked with this error message, and cannot join back and continue to get this message. Any ideas?

By reading that it sounds like you have too many ops on the server, saying max is only 80 for the file its writing in.

Are you able to delete old ops on the server? Id assume just clearing out some of your ops.json would help

Hey! sorry i just assumed it was the Ops bc you mentioned that was maybe causing the kick.

How to **manually** install a server - **On your own PC**

1. Go to the Forge website http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the Installer for the forge version the pack is using.
2. Run the installer and choose Install server. Do not install to your desktop. Also do not install inside a OneDrive folder.
3. Run the server using the forge.jar. A file called eula.txt will be generated. Open it and change eula=false to eula=true
4. From the Client; Copy the mods folder, config folder, and any other folders needed for the pack to work into the server folder. If the modpack has a server pack, use this instead!
5. Run the server again.
