There are two ways to share a modpack you've made with others...

Export and Share - For Friends to Small Groups.

1. Click the Icon for the modpack.
2. Click the button next to play.
3. Click Export.

5. Send the zip to the people that want it! They can follow the instructions in !mc-installpack to install the pack!

Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone.

This options will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to here: https://www.curseforge.com/project/432/4471/create
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.

Does anyone know how long it takes curseforge on average to update their "approved Non-CurseForge list" for forge updates? Every time I seem to upload a new modpack server version with an updated forge server version my pack gets rejected because some of the files have newer versions than whats in the system and I don't know how long I should wait before trying again

How to **manually** install a server - **On your own PC**

1. Go to the Forge website http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the Installer for the forge version the pack is using.
2. Run the installer and choose Install server. Do not install to your desktop. Also do not install inside a OneDrive folder.
3. Run the server using the forge.jar. A file called eula.txt will be generated. Open it and change eula=false to eula=true
4. From the Client; Copy the mods folder, config folder, and any other folders needed for the pack to work into the server folder. If the modpack has a server pack, use this instead!
5. Run the server again.

Log doesnt say what your issue is exactly. Something happening on the server is capping your cpu.

Also depending on the settings you are using in the game it can affect performance. Removing Vsync and uncapping FPS can be easy fixes and not using a render distance more than 8-10 will improve performance greatly.

So i accidentally cloned one of my "All the mods 6" profiles and i assumed that the new one was the one on the right (as it SHOULD BE) so i deleted that one. but it turned out that i had just deleted the profile i was playing on and have deleted my world. Ive tried data recovery software but they couldnt find anything. All i have left are a few automatic backups but the latest one was about 4 hours before i left off. Is there any way i could get the world back to how it was when i left it?

Right-click the modpack profile icon OR click the button in the modpack profile.
Click Open Folder.
Open the logs folder.
Find the file called latest.log and drag it into discord.

How to **manually** install a server - **On your own PC**

1. Go to the Forge website http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the Installer for the forge version the pack is using.
2. Run the installer and choose Install server. Do not install to your desktop. Also do not install inside a OneDrive folder.
3. Run the server using the forge.jar. A file called eula.txt will be generated. Open it and change eula=false to eula=true
4. From the Client; Copy the mods folder, config folder, and any other folders needed for the pack to work into the server folder. If the modpack has a server pack, use this instead!
5. Run the server again.

hello, I've got a problem when running minecraft modpack Valhelsia 3 (might not be related to modpack?). I have set memory settings to 8 GB but for some reason my client slowly goes way beyond that threshold, usually reaching about 22 GB at 100% RAM usage and then crashes. any idea what am I supposed to do?

There are two ways to share a modpack you've made with others...

Export and Share - For Friends to Small Groups.

1. Click the Icon for the modpack.
2. Click the button next to play.
3. Click Export.
4. Select the files that should be included.
5. Send the zip to the people that want it! They can follow the instructions in !mc-installpack to install the pack!

Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone.

This options will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to here: https://www.curseforge.com/project/432/4471/create
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.
6. Select the files that should be included.
7. Open your Project you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.
8. Wait for Moderation & Sync so it can show up in the client! (See !sync for limitations)

Is your pack a fabric pack or a forge pack?

Fabric modpacks or the use Fabric mods require you to install a mod called Jumploader.
Fabric mods do not work with Forge.
Forge mods do not work with Fabric.

Fabric mods should be marked with a Fabric Icon like this:

Hello. How do I uninstall OverWolf? I downloaded it so I could get RL craft but It didn't work (told me the version of RL Craft was too old or something). So I tried following a different tutorial that my friend used with the twitch mod method, but OverWolf isn't letting me use the twitch method.

@last parcel so I've just tried MC Eternal. freshly installed, single player world. profile in curseforge is set to Use System Memory Settings. the default is set to 8 GB. I've run it for less than a minute and it's already using over 10 GB of RAM.
guess it's not a modpack issue.
