Anyhoo, is there a reason as to why mods sometimes aren't recognized by Curseforge, even though I downloaded and manually placed the mod from Curseforge on the website?

It is REALLY frusturating

Because there are mods that you know are compatible, but you cannot export the modpack because its not in the right format

The problem is that the .json file doesn't recognize the mods as from Curseforge

Even though I download it from the web Curseforge, and manually place it within the mod folder (since I cannot access other mods that are compatible but doesn't show within the version)

For example, 1.16.4 mods are compatible with 1.16.5

However, they will not show

The download for Magiculture 2 keeps failing on 1 specific mod (AmbientSounds 3). All the previous mods appear to be downloaded fine (they all go into the mods folder as I would expect)

Beacuse of that i decided to start a new sky factory world and i played round about 2 hours on this world/version. Hello, I have a problem with the minecraft mods on curse forge.
I will not hide from you that this is starting to get on my nerves, the concern being that I cannot install any modpack via curse forge. I went to the official CurseForge forums for more information but apparently no CurseForge staff responded. The error message is "Unable to get Addon" with a mod name each time.

you just click on the pack you made or have installed and should get some sliders that should be green on the right side. all you need to do is hit play and is should be playable

go into the modpack page - there is a menu - click it and then Profile Options

Select Allow content management for this profile and click Done
