Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone.

This options will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.

Hello, i've been having some issues getting my modded minecraft to run, last night it was working fine, now, today, I tried to run it, and then the minecraft launcher was stuck at gray and wouldn't load, so i attempted to solve it using the method described on the minecraft forums, which is to delete some files from the install folder so the launcher redownloads them, now, my minecraft launcher simply sits at "preparing" and will not launch beyond that

Or at the very least, it should finish the download, then tell us which couple it wasn't able to find, so we can find them manually.

By destroying the tmp stack of what was already downloaded, people then have to ask the server for the same files all over again, handling this with a retry / not scrapping the tmp download would be a massive help to reducing the load.

Okay, I've just solved this for myself
I found going into CurseForge > Settings > Addons, and setting Simultaneous Downloads to 1.

This implies a memory overload from the server that isn't being caught / restricted.

RN I'm downloading the pack Mineshafts and Monsters and after a certain amount of time when i get back to the pc to look how far it has loaded i see a red text box at the bottom of the screen saing "timeout attempting to download: (a link i can't click on)" and then, it stops.

Curseforge has nothing to do with your connection to a server in the game. Once the game launchers, the client can be closed. Also you don't need to be logging into the app to do anything at all.
