well you can create a new world it's not like the old one gets dumpstered, just to confirm it's not your mods

if you suspect what might be causing the error you could try booting the bugged world (if that's what it is) without the offending mods in question to delete those blocks, or you can manually delete world chunks in the saves folder (the nuclear option)

@faint gust the default minecraft core files are bugged out. delete the install folder (shows you how below) and RESTART your computer then try to play again

How to install mods in CurseForge App.
  1. Click + Create Custom Profile
  2. Name it, select the required Minecraft version, select the Forge version (usually the highest number), click Create.
  3. Click the profile icon.

  5. Search and install the desired mods.
  6. Start the game!

Hello guys, I have a problem with my custom modpack (noob-made, so bear with me).

I installed various hardcore mods including Serene Seasons. Tried to keep everything as vanilla friendly as possible.
Very few mods that add mobs (as seen in crash log).
Things are great untill...

I get close to a village.
I was only able to find out that MAYBE it has something to do with Serene Seasons and Farmer villagers, due to SS changing crops...?

It seems it doesn't happen exactly when I load in a Farmer or when a villager becomes a Farmer. I've tested.
It only happens when the Farmer does something specific and I can't seem to figure out what.

So I created various worlds and /locate various villages and scouted and eliminated all Composts (their profession table or w/e). And it seemed to not crash anymore.

The thing is I don't know for sure what the cause is and I don't understand the crash-log.
So I'm asking you guys here before I go and report the potential error to the mod page which may not even be the mod's (Serene Seasons) fault.

How to **manually** install a server - **On your own PC**
  1. Go to the Forge website http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the Installer for the forge version the pack is using.
  2. Run the installer and choose Install server. Do not install to your desktop. Also do not install inside a OneDrive folder.
  3. Run the server using the forge.jar. A file called eula.txt will be generated. Open it and change eula=false to eula=true
  4. From the Client; Copy the mods folder, config folder, and any other folders needed for the pack to work into the server folder. If the modpack has a server pack, use this instead!
  5. Run the server again.

I've experienced a glitch. I installed curseforge to play GT:NH. Now when I launch the mc launcher it only shows GT:NH and the latest release. I can't load up any of my other installations and can't launch modpacks from other launchers like FTB as it only shows 1.16.5 and GT:NH as installations. How do I stop curseforge from hijacking my launcher?

Its really frustrating as when I launch minecraft from the normal launcher it only shows GT:NH and 1.16.5. Its not like it deleted all my other installs, its just preventing the launcher from showing any other installations that whats inside the instance.

There are two ways to share a modpack you've made with others...
Export and Share - For Friends to Small Groups.
  1. Click the Icon for the modpack.
  2. Click the CFmenu button next to play.
  3. Click CFexportExport.
  4. Select the files that should be included.
  5. Send the zip to the people that want it! They can follow the instructions in !mc-installpack to install the pack!
Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone.

This options will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

  1. Go to here: https://www.curseforge.com/project/432/4471/create
  2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
  3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
  4. Click the CFmenu button next to play.
  5. Click CFexportExport.
  6. Select the files that should be included.
  7. Open your Project you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.
  8. Wait for Moderation & Sync so it can show up in the client! (See !sync for limitations)

@here CurseForge isn't syncing to let me know when there are updates to my addons on both computers. For example, DBM currently has an update 02/14/2021, yet the latest I can see when I got to Versions is dated 02/06/2021. I was told there was an update and I can see the versions on one PC, but there's nothing on the other PC. Uninstalling/reinstalling the addon did not work, uninstalling/reinstalling Curseforge did not work. Anyone know how to fix this?

Where to find the log on the CurseForge Client.

Right-click the modpack profile icon OR click the CFmenu button in the modpack profile.
Click CFfolderOpen Folder.
Open the logs folder.
Find the file called latest.log and drag it into discord.

anyone know whats causing this issue? im trying to play stoneblock one with sphax and the stoneblock patch for it. both 32x cause the person who made the patch said to use 6gb of ram. it was working fine yesterday. but since then all my settings reset and my texturepacks disabled.
