I'm getting a rather generic "Failed to create modpack: ^Modpack^" error when I try to install my pack. It seems to create a folder, a .curseclient file and then nothing else. Installing via zip works fine.

Could it possibly that curseforge hasn't completely synced my pack with the app, or is some other jank goin' on?

Sync and your Project.

CurseForge REQUIRE a project to have one file marked Released on them for the projects to show up in search. Otherwise only Direct links to the project work.

Files can take a while to show up in the app. If your files still have not shown up either your project is new and you have yet to mark a file as Release or there is issues with the sync system making it slow.

im playing a modpack with 116 mods and this shit is lagging like shit. i got my settings on 12 chunks and it worked well yesterday and today it is just lagging. when i turn it on 4 chunks it is working fine but who tf wants to play with 4 chunks.

Quick question - any reason why my friends computer completely stops responding and crashes and just overall lags out when trying to install/open Curseforge/Overwolf? It'ss happened to her twice now, and shes able to install other things just fine, except the Curselauncher. We think Overwolf is messing something up perhaps? Not a single clue.... was just curious if anyone had any recommendations. We've tried nearly everything I could think of - running as admins, reinstalling, closing out all instances and retrying, and somehow it just completely lags out her computer. And I'd say it's because her PC is old, however, theres plenty of hard drive space, defrag'd, her CPU isn't even hitting 100% in task manager, and shes able to download other things fine.

Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone.

This options will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.

How to **manually** install a server - **On your own PC**

1. Go to the Forge website http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the Installer for the forge version the pack is using.
2. Run the installer and choose Install server. Do not install to your desktop. Also do not install inside a OneDrive folder.
3. Run the server using the forge.jar. A file called eula.txt will be generated. Open it and change eula=false to eula=true
4. From the Client; Copy the mods folder, config folder, and any other folders needed for the pack to work into the server folder. If the modpack has a server pack, use this instead!
5. Run the server again.

There are two ways to share a modpack you've made with others...

Export and Share - For Friends to Small Groups.

1. Click the Icon for the modpack.
2. Click the button next to play.
3. Click Export.
4. Select the files that should be included.
5. Send the zip to the people that want it! They can follow the instructions in !mc-installpack to install the pack!

Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone.

This options will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to here: https://www.curseforge.com/project/432/4471/create
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.
