Hey guys, im trying to get a modded minecraft server up on Digital ocean... I downloaded the latest JDK/JRE, but when I run the provided startserver.sh file I get an error saying that -d64 isnt an option, causing server startup to fail but I see it on the java man page... really confused as I thought I installed the correct thing

I have repaired the modpack, exported it several times yet it still says this, anyone know what's going on? I've never made a modpack before until a few weeks ago. Also another glaring problem I see is that the file size is significantly larger than my other packs, I'm talking several times larger. I would greatly appreciate some help here.

Ok so for some reason i figured out that if you don't add a mod directly from the overwolf launcher to a modpack it won't add it to the manifest so fuck me i guess i can't add biomes o' plenty to my modpack.

This happened to me, try going in your .minecraft folder and delete everything, fyi this will delete all worlds if you dont want too delete any worlds just dont delete the "saves" folder when you run minecraft again it will recreate all the files and you should be fine.

Youd have to see the Error log on either the client or the server. A NullPointerException can be any number of things especially if you are working in a Modded Environment. Impossible to fix without knowing the cause.

I'm having an issue installing optifine onto my instance in the curseforge app. I load it in manually after downloading it from the site, placing it in the mod folder for that instance. All the other mods show up in this folder and I've verified its path. I go back to curseforge and the installed mods number does not change, even on restart and refresh. I boot it and the mod does not load. I made a forge instance on the vanilla loader and linked it directly to the curseforge profile and optifine loaded properly. Is there a reason curseforge refuses to recognize the mod, or is there an additional step I need to do to get it to run?

Thanks. I figured as much. I just wasn't sure exactly what was going on and thought maybe there might have been a step I was missing for manual loading or something. Seems I was mistaken. @strong kindle if you are on newer versions of minecraft you need to include a mod 'optiforge' or 'optifabric' - and even then lots of luck getting optifine to work in general modpacks which aren't specifically curated to be compatible

Hi there the curse forge made my Minecraft launcher stop working like it keep coming up with a black screen and I try uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing change

I just did a fresh install of wow on a brand new SSD and installed the curseforge beta app. It only shows WOW Retail and not Classic. I can't install any of my Classic mods :(. What do I do?

Got it. I had a similar issue. Right-click the file in Explorer, hit Properties, and make sure the file is unblocked by Windows.
