Hey guys, My friend and I have been wrestling with how to get a tekkit server that we can play on together.

I have gone through and setup an aternos account and started a server on there. The tekkit reloaded mod thats on curseforge isn't listed on aternos mods list... does this mean that aternos does not currently support the tekkit reloaded mod?

What other free alternatives are there for tekkit mod server hosting?

How would you go about solving the problem.

My computer is good enough to run and host its own server, I just don't want to pay and not sure if there is a simple free way to go about setting this up. Thanks!

installing on aternos would be a question for aternos support. free servers dont really work for mods since you need ram and they give you like 1gb.

How to **manually** install a server - **On your own PC**

1. Go to the Forge website http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the Installer for the forge version the pack is using.
2. Run the installer and choose Install server. Do not install to your desktop. Also do not install inside a OneDrive folder.
3. Run the server using the forge.jar. A file called eula.txt will be generated. Open it and change eula=false to eula=true
4. From the Client; Copy the mods folder, config folder, and any other folders needed for the pack to work into the server folder. If the modpack has a server pack, use this instead!
5. Run the server again.

hello is somebody able to help me. I logged off after playing mc eternal minecraft mod pack and i was in the sttings just looking at things and i click into versions and dont change anything, just click continue to get out of it. Next thing i know is the icon for the modpack is greyed out and says things like 'updating', 'deleting back ups etc' so i freak out and cant stop it. Now i dont know if my world is completely gone or is there a way i can recover it. i have already looked in the files but i am unsure

Try adding the Just Enough Resources mod. It will tell you what layers ores spawn and what mobs drop things. If it doesn't show there, you'll need to make the excavator; read that section of the book the mod provides.

reduce ram to 6gb, open task manager before you load the pack and see if anything hits 100%
