Go to settings on the curseforge app, click minecraft, scroll down to launcher method, and switch it from "JAR" to "native launcher". Dumbest thing I've ever had to do. It will have you log in to your mojang account again but its just rebooting an older instance of minecraft dont worry

There are two ways to share a modpack you've made with others...

Export and Share - For Friends to Small Groups.

1. Click the Icon for the modpack.
2. Click the button next to play.
3. Click Export.
4. Select the files that should be included.
5. Send the zip to the people that want it! They can follow the instructions in !mc-installpack to install the pack!

Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone.

This options will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to here: https://www.curseforge.com/project/432/4471/create
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.
6. Select the files that should be included.
7. Open your Project you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.
8. Wait for Moderation & Sync so it can show up in the client! (See !sync for limitations)

Hi i just installed forge on my macbook and I downloaded the mod FTB chunks. I tried loading the minecraft and it sais i needed to download ftb gui library so i went ahead and did that. Then when i load minecraft again it said i needed a mod called architecture so i also added that. But the third time i try loading minecraft it says the ftb gui library hass to be version 1.0.0 (even though it already is) and the version is, and it doesnt say the version number does anyone know how i can fix this?

So I want to host a modded server for 1.12.2. All the stuff I see explaining the process is using a Forge program. Can I use that and people using CurseForge for the mod are still able to access it, or does Forge require it's own version?

Forge is the modloader. Modloaders are what mods are built on, if you don't have it the mods will never run.

All forge does is loads the mods into the game code.

CurseForge manages mod files.

having a problem with minecraft , specifically my All The Mods 6 (1.16.5) save. Whenever i launcch All The Mods through curseforge it loads up the game but whenever i try to load a world the screen goes red and doesnt move , if i touch my mouse it says that java tm is not responding. for some reason when playing a modpack that i used to get 60 fps in consistently, is running at 5-10 frames now. i haven't played in a few days and haven't added any new mods. i've allocated a lot of ram to curseforge and it was running smoothly before, so idk what the issue could be. can someone help ? :>)

you could try lowering the amount of ram you are using, sometimes your fps can drop if you have too much allocated
