Hello, I am trying to install KSP mods but its not entirely working, Gamedata seems to have a gamedata folder inside it, maybe this is where curse temp stores downloaded files?

It seems when i try and install a mod, it appears in gamedata/gamedata but does not copy into place... then get overwrote by the next mod i try to install...am i doing somthing very wrong?

When I try to install a modpack for Minecraft on CurseForge

It a. doesn't finish installing and the installation gets cancelled

b. I attempt to launch the modpack and nothing happens even though i clicked play

Since changing addon manager to curse forge, I have installed two different addons in wow. Both add ons show up in the addon list in game, but the slash commands to interact with them do not work. Initially with the first addon that didnt work, I tried a bunch on reinstalling and whatnot, including disabling all addons except the new one. I also verified it was downloaded in the correct folder and I even tried downloading the addon directly from its github page, (that was leading me to believe the addon itsself was the issue but another guildie downloaded the addon and it worked for him (he wouldnt tell me what he did to make it work)) But then I downloaded a second addon through curseforge withthe same issues, the slash commands not working, now im back to thinking it might be something with curseforge? any suggestions would be appreciated

my brother is having issues installing cursedforge, this is probably not the correct place to ask but does anyone know what could be preventing it? i think it would be a antivirus but i turned off AVG and his firewall even to try to install it but nothing has worked, as soon as we click download the download has been “removed” immediately

So hey guys TL DR on my second pc I have the exact same custom profile as what is on my current pc which works just fine, I've never had an issue with the second pc until yesterday, if I hit the play button nothing happens. I restarted the computer and updated java as well, but no matter which profile I hit play on it does not do anything. Google doesn't show any fixes either.

@upper atlas ?? unclear what you are asking. you can create a custom empty profile or load a modpack. then you can add mods via the search window. if it's a premade modpack you need to go find the checkbox to enable modifying files.

I can't play 1.7.10 version minecraft with many mods on. I tried instruction that @golden musk gave but it didn't still work. I have all setting that are recommended. And I checked my computer memory that it has enough space to download all the mods. But I can play normaly without the mods.

Right-click the modpack profile icon OR click the button in the modpack profile.
Click Open Folder.

I tried playing some modded minecraft and while the game was launching it crashed. When I opened up curseforge to try and reload it only showed the error message of "Oops that was not supposed to happen! Seems like we could not load CurseForge. Lets try this one more time!" and no amount of clicking the retry button will get it to load. I've already tried restarting my computer. hey, this is the second time ive had this issue, but the solution from the first time isn't working so i'm back
basically, the profile i made says theres no mods installed, but the actual folder for this profile has all the mods intact. it just refuses to show up on the launcher itself for some reason.
last time i was here, i was told to duplicate the profile, and when i did so it worked. it doesn't work now though, no matter how many duplicates i make.

i guess this isnt a huge issue since i can still play the game just fine, its just a bit annoying since when i go to add more content it doesnt show me which mods i already have installed (and i cant see the mod list which would help with updating)

There are two ways to share a modpack you've made with others...

Export and Share - For Friends to Small Groups.

1. Click the Icon for the modpack.
2. Click the button next to play.
3. Click Export.
4. Select the files that should be included.
5. Send the zip to the people that want it! They can follow the instructions in !mc-installpack to install the pack!

Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone.

This options will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to here: https://www.curseforge.com/project/432/4471/create
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.
6. Select the files that should be included.
7. Open your Project you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.
8. Wait for Moderation & Sync so it can show up in the client! (See !sync for limitations)

If Minecraft is not installed, start here.

Click the in the top right.
Select Minecraft.
Click "Edit".

Move to the "Continue here:" section below.

If Minecraft is installed, follow these steps.

Click the in the bottom left.
Select the Minecraft tab.
Click "Change".

Move to the "Continue here:" section below.

Continue here:

Make a folder in the root directory called CurseForge.
Select the folder you just made.
The text box should show something like the following:
For Windows: C:\CurseForge
For Mac: /CurseForge

1. Click on the icon in the bottom left.

3. Click Edit next to the Minecraft Modding Folder Option.
4. Select the folder named Install.
5. Delete it.
6. Restart CurseForge App.
7. It will ask to install MC again, do so.
8. Play game.

NOTE: You will not lose any modpacks or worlds, These are saved in the Instances folder. DO NOT TOUCH THIS FOLDER OR YOU WILL LOSE EVERYTHING

2. Select Open a Ticket.

3. Fill out the form with accurate detailed information, "It doesn't work" isn't helpful! What exactly doesn't work and why doesn't it work should be easy to answer!

4. Make sure to upload your Overwolf logs with the Upload File option on the ticket, information on how to get these logs can be found here https://support.overwolf.com/en/support/solutions/articles/9000176827-how-to-get-your-overwolf-logs

5. Submit!
