hey idk if anyone here can help me but am using a datapack that makes the entire world just vanilla ocean biomes +vanilla cave biomes and I notice the data pack does not work with the mods I have, spef. inifity caves and deeper oceans, if anyone knows how I can make the datapack work/add both of thoses that would be wonderful or know a mod that does the same thing as the data pack but compatiable with the mods

Issue is either the ip:port is incorrect or network issues. Your "Ping test" to the server is timing out. So either its get lost on the way to the server OR lost on the way back.

Not sure if this is the place to ask, But im trying to setup a Sky Revolution server but I cant get forge to pickup the mods. The server files did not include and forge or actual server start up stuff so I did it myself but its not loading any mods or scripts

Sorry, can anyone help me? I do not understand the reason why Minecraft 1.7.10 prevents me from seeing when I have an item in my hand, the screen gets in colors and hopefully I can play but the mobs are invisible, the chunks barely load and the mods work horribly.

Playing on my own Modpack for 1.18.2, and I added some mods recently, but now whenever I try to make an enchanted book, it removes the enchantment completely, while still saying it's enchanted. It seems to remove the NBT data, and no matter what, regardless of whether I'm in creative or survival, it still happens. And it seems like it's not just with Enchanted books, but with any other items that you add an NBT tag to. Yet I created a new world and this issue doesn't happen there. Anyone know why this issue is happening?

Playing on my own Minecraft modpack on 1.18.2 and whenever I attack anything, my attack speed gets reduced by quite a bit. My Sword with 1 attack speed gets reduced to 0.6 for instance, any idea on how to fix this?

Ok so going back on this, it isn't with a weapon, it's the enchantments. Whenever I have more than 5 enchantments on a weapon, it permanently reduces my attack speed/cooldown. What could be causing that?

Been working on a modpack of my own, but I'm currently having an issue with items not stacking properly. I have to drop the items I gather and drop the items in my chest for them to finally merge and I can pick them up. Another issue with it is I cannot feed items to mobs like cows, pigs, etc for breeding. Anyone know why this is happening? Modlist below.

hey, hellowo Ive just installed curseforge through Overwolf and I was trying to set it up to play with friends using 3 mods, JEI, Aether and AppleSkin

I have failed to make it work tho, dunno whats happening, I keep getting error code "1"
I tried running the profile with all mods disabled
have tried creating new profiles, installed java 22 and 21, none of that worked so far
updated GPU driver

one of my friends did basically the same thing as me, but it worked for him
dunno what else I could try and cannot trace the root of the problem
would anyone give me any direction on what to look for pleeease

i'm playing forge modded minecraft, and sometimes it just stops loading commands (eg: worldedit commands, xaero's minimap teleport, won't load chunks) but it still lets me move around and all. then if i save and quit to title, it crashes, it's done this twice now.

it also has all these recources that it says are incompatable, even tho they weren't before. some of them say they're for an older version and some for a newer version, it doesn't make any sense

I have a problem with my Minecraft server. There are a few mods on it (attached). My internet and my ping are both very good in every Game and on other Minecraft servers, but only on me and my friends' server is it in the 100 range. Everything else is working perfectly and the problem appeared today, before that everything worked perfektly. I've already tried using the Spark mod to find out what the problem is, but I'm not familiar enough with the mod to Analyse anything out of it (attached aswell). You do not specify what your perceived problem is. Being slow? You should start off with clearing out 30-50gb of hard drive storage. Your drive is almost full - the world save folder will bloom to 4-12gb easily, and you should have at least 10-30gb on top of that for your OS page file to work fully

Some drivers/hardware or even computers can have issues with 1.7.10. That is due to the fact things become too incompatible over time, the only way to solve this issue is to downgrade your drivers from a version dating around 2010-2015 which is not recommended as it may break your computer.

I need help with something. My friend downloaded forge client so we could go onto a server I made, but even though we have all of that, the installer in the Minecraft launcher isn't showing up. How do you configure things using tags? I suggested that a mod developer add something to their mod's configs, but they just ignored it and said configure it using tags without saying anything of how to do so.

specifically, I want to make it so armor from a mod I use has radiation resistance, and remove radiation resistance from leather. This is using the Create: New Age mod. I've gotten as far as seeing that it's like NBT tags or whatever. I have no idea how to change those or make them work for every of the item that's made if that makes sense.

Since you were in offline mode, the server wasnt authenticating with Mojangs servers, AKA playing cracked with no account checking.

So it makes sence this happened, since the server now sees you as a real account not an "unknown" account

As far as it was concerned neither of you owned the game and were using "temp" accounts. Now that online mode was re-enabled, its using your actual accounts.

Online-mode == Authentaction and securrity. Offline == no authentication and no security.

Youll likely need to go through wach mod, see which one affects vanilla style tools. Used to see that effect with older TConstruct mods / addons or mods that changed how early game behaved

Your list file is a list extension or attentionless basically. Had to add a .txt to the end to be able to even open the file

I am trying to simulate a zombie apocalypse by using Lost Cities to generate cities and Timeless and Classic to add guns to the game, but because of the poor chest loot generated in the Lost Cities, I needed to change the loot table in the mod archives, so I could add the Timeless guns in it, but I dont know how to do it, every time I change numbers in the loot table it does not affect the game.

Whilst I look through the logs can you answer these questions?

What modloader? (forge or fabric)

What version of minecraft?

Where is it crashing: main loading screen, world creation screen, world loading screen, in game, elsewhere?

Have you tried repairing the profile and the installation? (if you repair the installation you have to go to the settings in the bottom left corner, click minecraft, and scroll down until you see the ram scroll bar to adjust the ram/memory you want to use for minecraft)

Is it a modpack you made, a premade modpack, or a premade modpack that you modified(which is frowned upon by the staff because they don't know how the creator of the modpack wanted things to be)?

Did it work before hand? Did it stop working suddenly? Did it stop working after you added/deleted/updated/changed a mod, the forge thing, or anything else?

How many mods?

What is your ram set to? (go settings in the bottom left corner of curseforge app, click minecraft, and scroll down until you see the ram scroll bar—it should tell you)

Some information:
chipped with every compat tends to make games laggy because every compat can add up to 10,000 blocks
The Essential Mod is frowned upon by Curseforge staff—if it's an essential issue you need to go to the essential mod discord server
Optifine can break modpacks, but I've seen it break more mod packs or cause more issues—but it may not be the cause of issues, if it's optifine I may not be able to help
