I am trying to use commands to create an active conduit without water. I don't care about the effects, just the animation of a fully active conduit.

Doing this on bedrock. I am kinda stumped on the specific syntax necessary. I am fine with either spawning an actual conduit and setting it's active status to true (if this will animate it) or summoning a display entity (again, if this will leave an animated conduit).

I've tried /setblock ~ ~ ~ conduit["active"=true]
Which returns "block state is invalid for block"

and I tried to make sense of the syntax for summoning display entities, but I don't know the format.

Any help would be amazing ❤️

and just to state the obvious the ~ ~ ~ is the specific coords of the block, not the tildes

hey can ANYONE tell me what is going on. My game crashes at the loading bootsrtaps part. It only returns an error code of 1 and no crash log is created. I have removed and tested mods separately with it sometimes doing the same and sometimes being fine. I would remove the troublesome mod and even still the game crashes the same. ok idk why but i disabled integrated api, integrated dungeons and structures (idas), tempad and zeta and the problem is gone

im gonna enable them one by one to see if any causes the problem again

hm so im still not sure which causes the problem, but when i enable everything but tempad instead of the weird text problem i just get the error u usually get when uve missed a library mod, except it said that zeta failed to load correctly, and if i disable zeta it disables integrated dungeons and structures cause it needs that library mod, but it does work im just worried about the problems on worlds that have already had thousands of chunks loaded including the dungeons

hm so i havent actually experienced any crashes from tempad, but for some reason when i kill i think only vanilla mobs the world does a kind of crash, but it doesnt crash the whole game or even take me back to the home screen - it says server closed and takes me to the server list? even tho im playing on a private world not server

its possible this problem is the same or related to one i was having on an actual server, somehting to do with the loot tables, and a possible conflict between the epic fight mod and the additional entitiy attributes mod (which is like a sub mod thing? only visible in game when added with origins)

that was the same problem on the server, however an update of one of the mods fixed the issue, i had hoped that update would be shared onto the mods im using now, but ig cause that server was 1.20 and my modpack is 1.19 the update that fixes the problem hasnt yet been impliment on 1.19 😢

ig the only solution then is to wait for either mod to be updated and hope the problem fixes itself

on going issues between AMD and Windows, 1 of the 2 is shipping users broken amd drivers whenever windows does an update.

Generally for things like cpu or gpu, you want to manually install any updates. Dont let windows do it for you

Does anyone know of a mod that allows me to sync my block breaking speed to my movement speed?

For example, in Bedrock you can place blocks as fast as you can move. Meaning you can place a row of blocks perfectly by holding down RMB. I found a mod that brings this functionality to Java 1.20+ called Accurate Block Placement Reborn (a fork of the original), but this only affects placing blocks, not breaking them.

I tried Tweakeroo, but even on the lowest setting, it instantly destroys as many blocks as I can reach, which is too much.

I also tried altering my attack speed attribute, but this doesn't affect breaking blocks, just the actual attack speed with a weapon or empty-handed against mobs.

For reference, this is the functionality that the mod adds, which mirrors Bedrock. I just want the same thing but for breaking blocks in Creative.

• GPU (AMD specifically has issues)
• Is the correct GPU used
• Does the system have enough ram
• Is the correct amount of RAM allocated without going over excessively
• Are other things running in the background leading to lack of RAM
• Mods used
• Shaders
• View distance too high
• CPU core speed too low

The list intentionally ambiguous. There is no way to figure out what specifically causes your FPS issues, if there actually are any. Low FPS could simply be a result of the mods chosen in which you would need to trial & error out which are affecting it.

Otherwise best I got is the server is waiting on too many mob updates. Mod count is low, but the server is constantly checking for in game updates from mobs.

If you have a few mods that add lots of mobs, this could cause issues

The game only uses a single core and doenst multithread all that well, so if a mod is more demanding, it can pull from other aspects of the game. Most tend to notice fsp or tps issues, if its not flat out crashing

I'm playing the latest version of the modpack Farming Valley using Optifine 1.10.2 HD U I5. The sky is stuttering when shaders are on, I already disabled botania's custom skybox before this and it was working fine until now. It's like my framerate is perfectly fine but the sky is at like 20fps

You could try to pregenerate the map before playing, would pregen all structures so all chunks are loaded one time before start playing on a server or singleplayer
For this you can use the integrated forge function /forge generate or a external mod like this

Before debugging I would always recommend to try it one time without Optifine and Essential
Alternatives for this mods are mostly Embeddium+Oculus and e4mc(which does not exist for 1.16.5 I think)

CurseForge doesn’t touch worlds that were made outside of it, you’d have to move it over

You copy the save from the other location and put it in the saves folder for the profile you’re playing

Hey, I made a custom minecraft profile in 1.18.2 with no issues and realized i needed to use forge-40.2.4 for a mod (it defaulted to 40.2.0) but whenever i try to make a profile on the right version i get an error saying java runtime environment is missing or out of date, i ran the java updater and restarted overwolf and it hasnt fixed, does anyone know a solution?

The packs weren’t deleted, when you change where the modding path goes to, the packs are left where the app used to point to

1. Right-click the modpack profile icon OR click the button in the modpack profile.
2. Click Open Folder.
3. Open the logs folder.
4. Drag and drop the FILE named latest OR debug into discord.

How to update your mod loader within the same game version in the CurseForge app

1. Click on the modpack profile you are working with.
2. Click on the button next to the play button.
3. Click on the Profile Options button.
4. Select the mod loader version you want from the dropdown.
5. Play!

If you need to update to a new game version, a new profile is required.
