hello, I keep having issues were I keep getting error code 1 from the minecraft launcher. I am playing BetterMC BCM4, and I have uninstalled curseforge, minecraft itself, the launcher, and java and no of those have fixed my issue

It's not a issue with curseforge, probably a issue with aternos even if they not able to fix it.
Personally i recommend to self host a server

How to **manually** install a server - **On your own PC**

1. Check if the modpack has a server pack, if it does: use that and skip below.
2. Go to the Forge website http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the Installer for the forge version the pack is using.
3. Run the installer and choose Install server. Do not install to your desktop. Also do not install inside a OneDrive folder.
4. Run the server using the forge.jar. A file called eula.txt will be generated. Open it and change eula=false to eula=true
5. From the Client; Copy the mods folder, config folder, and any other folders needed for the pack to work into the server folder. If the modpack has a server pack, use this instead!
6. Run the server again.
7. Port forward your machine if needed. (Google it)

You could also use this community made tool for installing packs! Instructions are provided on the site.

hello guys i have a question my friend and i are playing mystical block and all of a sudden his computer is using 9 gigabytes saying that he need to allocate more memory. he has 32 gigabyte and he already allocated 22 giga bytes to the game and he still can not open his emc transmutation table and if he can use it he can't search bar anything in the tt only scroll thru the list. none of us have this and his computer is 10x better then mine. its loading a lot in the game overloading it and then it crashed then al of a sudden. please help?

So CurseForge has integration with Nitrado. I am attempting to input a set, manually sorted ID string for my mods into Nitrado's website for their curseforge mod integration. Whenever I add the string, it takes all the mods and auto-sorts them out of the manual sortment. This started happening today after something changed. Can we get this reported to CurseForge? It's driving me up a wall.

Hi, I am having fairly consistent crashes while playing for around 15-20mins. I put together a custom rpg style mod pack using curseforge and I installed all the mods at once before starting the world. I sent my brother the modpack and he also gets crashes around the same time after playing for a while. Is there an easy way to tell what's causing the crash? My forge is 43.3.0 and I am playing with 1.9.2 mods.

sound_physics_remastered just straight up bugged out
net.mcreator.enemyexpproofofconcept this mod is made with mcreator, and like almost all mcreator mods probably just has bad code

I'm not having like trouble with a mod pack persey—but I can't seem to figure out which mod is causing my blocks to have gravity when I don't want them to. I've added onto a mod pack because I frankly needed more than the mod pack currently offered and I just can figure out which mod is causing blocks that don't normally fall like grass blocks and dirt to fall. Since we are on an antiquated version (5 updates behind) it's likely that he's overriden the saddle with an update and it's no longer accessible on our version.

I have made the report to the higher ups, I will do my best to follow up when we have more but this specific type of bug could take a little longer since it deals with mod distribution.

So that mc version is really starting to show its age. Problem is gpu but not that its not updated. Issue is it too up to date.

Its the "New hardware/software" trying to run game version made for Old hardware/software.

The only fix we know of is to (drastically) downgrade your gpu drivers to a version from 2013ish. However this may severely mess with your pc.

Best to just play a newer mc version. 1.10+

Hello friends! You are my only salvation, which I hope will help me in the hopeless situation in which I have found myself. I started playing RolePlay, in the server they use one of the "henkelmax" Mods, namely "Simple Voice Chat 1.20.10-2.4.29". MineCraft version 1.20.1, Fabric 0.14.21. I am using a Macbook with M1 processor and Sonoma 14.1.1 OS. I guess people who are familiar with a similar problem will understand what my problem is :D. When I log in to the server, I get the message "Your launcher does not support MacOS microphone permissions". From yesterday to today, without sleeping all night, I have been digging for a solution to the problem, but I have never come to one. I see a bunch of tips on how to allow access from Privacy&Settings, but that option no longer exists in the new OS and I can't give the game permission to use a microphone. I want to activate this feature because I really enjoy playing. I'm asking for help, really from the bottom of my heart, because I've been struggling for a long time and I can't come to a solution to the problem. I'm exhausted 😦

Not Belkaraine, but I know there have been more issues getting Ark mods to work on PS5 than on other platforms. It's being looked at and worked on but personally I don't know much more than that. I'm sure Bel will have more info for you once she's online.

As far as fixes go, CF can only do so much but perhaps additional filtering for PS5 limitations, adding easily read tags to the mods on cook for compatibility to be seen in the game menu shop, etc could be discussed.

One issue of the mods constantly downloading is the server's version is out of date to the client's, most times being behind. Instead of rejecting access it'll download the older version to allow you to play.

I figured out a fix for the invalid issue.
It was either because the MOD version was outdated or the server itself was running an outdated version. When that happens I have to restart my server to freshen up mods and have to go to mod list and update any that say update required and the invalid ones you'll just Uninstal and re install them.

Can´t run a modpack in minecraft using CurseForge, Error 1

One of my friends was trying to install and run a modpack via CurseForge (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/better-mc-forge-bmc4) when he tries to run it the minecraft returns Error Code: 1. We all ready try the following possible solutions:

Install the newest java version x64

Reinstall Minecraft Launcher making sure all folder was delete from all the posible route like, programFiles and .Minecraft

Delegate more RAM to curseForge

With all this attemps Minecraft stills displaying the Error Code: 1

How to set Minecraft to use the correct GPU in Windows

If Minecraft will not start then use the tool linked at the bottom!

1. Start the modpack you wish to fix. If it will not start, then click the in the top right of the app then select Run Vanilla Minecraft. In the launcher that opens, go to the Installations tab and choose New Installation. Choose a name and select the Minecraft version of the modpack you are trying to run (like 1.19.4 or 1.7.10). Once created play it by clicking the green Play button that appears when hovering over it in the list of installations.
2. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager
3. Find Minecraft in the list of running programs. It will be called something like Java or OpenJDK Binary. (tip: sort by ram usage by clicking on the Memory tab. Minecraft uses a lot of ram so will be at the top)
4. Right click it and Open File Location
5. Copy the file path from Windows Explorer by clicking into the address bar and pressing Ctrl + C
6. Press and type in GPU, then press Enter to open Graphics Settings
7. Under Graphics performance preference (called Custom options for apps in Win 11) select Desktop App
8. Click Browse
9. Click the address bar and paste in the folder location you copied by pressing Ctrl + V, then press Enter
10. Select the javaw or javaw.exe file from the files in front of you (tip: press J to immediately jump to the files that start with that letter)
11. Once selected, click Add in the bottom right of the window
12. Click the Options button on the newly added option
13. Set it to High performance on the best GPU you have

hi i have a modpack with forge and pmmo and i would like to add xp for all the stone blocks in game and i saw some forge:items written like that in config so i was wondering if i could set all the stone with only 1 name
something like that

I think this only works, if the block is a xp dropping block

no its counting the xp to the “mining” stat but forge should have an ID for all the stones from all mods in the modpack under 1 name

hi, anyone know how to implemented ARK ASA in Courseforge? the app wont find it automatic and if i try it manual its dont show me the ark .exe in the Folder: SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ARK Survival Ascended\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64

Yeah, the app doesn't have any support to mod the game, sadly. I'm not sure how one would manually mod it either.

1. Right-click the modpack profile icon OR click the button in the modpack profile.
2. Click Open Folder.
3. Open the logs folder.
4. Drag and drop the FILE named latest OR debug into discord.

Try without opticrash first. 95% of this log is just OF complaining

Since your on 1.16.5, could try Embeddium instead.
