I would love to have a 800 mod 1.7.10 pack that actually functioned on a server after the fixes. I know it would be a royal pain in the ass to fix all the id issues with it but in the end it would be 1 hell of a pack

the crash report don't say so much ,only thaumcraft , you have two solution

1 : remove thaumcraft

2 : disalbing some mods by some mods and watch if the crash diseppaer to find the incompat

Recently started playing the "Immersed with Shaders" modpack, went fine the first session, then as i started the next day it kept crashing after loading a certain amount of chunks, while still keeping changes when i come back. Like if i explore a cave and light it up, it crashes, then when i revisit, it's still lit up. i've tried contacting the owner, but to no avail. Exit code 1, the only fix i could find was to delete mods, but as this was a modpack i find that problamatic

I'm having an issue with a mod that I have tried to binary search for and still cannot find as it is slightly inconsistent.
Reaching level 5/10/15+ exp causes the "Player Dings" via accessibility visualized audio OR minecraft ENTITY_PLAYER_LEVELUP sound to play once, then repeating again in 5 seconds, and looping continuously until player death. Leaving or rejoining does not end the loop.

How to **manually** install a server - **On your own PC**

1. Check if the modpack has a server pack, if it does: use that and skip below.
2. Go to the Forge website http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the Installer for the forge version the pack is using.
3. Run the installer and choose Install server. Do not install to your desktop. Also do not install inside a OneDrive folder.
4. Run the server using the forge.jar. A file called eula.txt will be generated. Open it and change eula=false to eula=true
5. From the Client; Copy the mods folder, config folder, and any other folders needed for the pack to work into the server folder. If the modpack has a server pack, use this instead!
6. Run the server again.
7. Port forward your machine if needed. (Google it)

If Minecraft will not start then use the tool linked at the bottom!

1. Start the modpack you wish to fix. If it will not start, then click the in the top right of the app then select Run Vanilla Minecraft. In the launcher that opens, go to the Installations tab and choose New Installation. Choose a name and select the Minecraft version of the modpack you are trying to run (like 1.19.4 or 1.7.10). Once created play it by clicking the green Play button that appears when hovering over it in the list of installations.
2. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager
3. Find Minecraft in the list of running programs. It will be called something like Java or OpenJDK Binary. (tip: sort by ram usage by clicking on the Memory tab. Minecraft uses a lot of ram so will be at the top)
4. Right click it and Open File Location
5. Copy the file path from Windows Explorer by clicking into the address bar and pressing Ctrl + C
6. Press and type in GPU, then press Enter to open Graphics Settings

8. Click Browse
9. Click the address bar and paste in the folder location you copied by pressing Ctrl + V, then press Enter
10. Select the javaw or javaw.exe file from the files in front of you (tip: press J to immediately jump to the files that start with that letter)
11. Once selected, click Add in the bottom right of the window
12. Click the Options button on the newly added option
13. Set it to High performance on the best GPU you have

How to **manually** install a server - **On your own PC**

1. Check if the modpack has a server pack, if it does: use that and skip below.
2. Go to the Forge website http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the Installer for the forge version the pack is using.
3. Run the installer and choose Install server. Do not install to your desktop. Also do not install inside a OneDrive folder.
4. Run the server using the forge.jar. A file called eula.txt will be generated. Open it and change eula=false to eula=true
5. From the Client; Copy the mods folder, config folder, and any other folders needed for the pack to work into the server folder. If the modpack has a server pack, use this instead!
6. Run the server again.
7. Port forward your machine if needed. (Google it)

As for the others, try installing the second latest version of the addons, then the latest versions of the dependancies

This is likely going to be one of those weird issues I used to see in 1.12.2 where the mods needed the versions changed ever so slightly. Meaning you need specific versions of the mods to get em to work.

There aren't any crash logs or anything it's just a few bugs. Is there a way to tell which ones are in conflict? The health bug fixes itself when the player respawns, but the phantom issue does not seem to go away no matter how much I've dug through the config files. Is there a mod that adds extra suffocation checks like lithium does?

Not that I know of, can use the mod incontrol to help control mob spawns. but it has a high learning curve

She has a Minecraft Server with a modpack, but since they installed it, only one of the other players can join the server - the others, including her, cannot join again. She (and the others) get this error when trying to join the server:
java.io.IOException: Root tag must be a named compound tag

I searched this channel for this error already, you will need a pastebin with the log, right?

It's really fishy because one of the players can join, but the rest not. My first guess is that their data is somehow different from the ones the one player who can play on the server uses. Does that sound logical?

That's at least what I would do. When I mod a game, I also do it 1 by 1 and not over 400 things at once. That's not how you do error analasys.

Turned out it was a network error all along.

It turned out everyone but the one who could connect to the server used the shortened IP to connect.
Just now they found out that they need to connect with the full server IP written, which was the only thing that they apparently did differently.

How to set Minecraft to use the correct GPU in Windows

If Minecraft will not start then use the tool linked at the bottom!

1. Start the modpack you wish to fix. If it will not start, then click the in the top right of the app then select Run Vanilla Minecraft. In the launcher that opens, go to the Installations tab and choose New Installation. Choose a name and select the Minecraft version of the modpack you are trying to run (like 1.19.4 or 1.7.10). Heya, So there's this mod called "Enchantment Transfer" and it's working great.

Although I encountered a problem where there is a gold sword with 2 enchants (Everlasting and Looting). When I try to transfer the enchant only the Everlasting enchant has been transferred probably because it's first. While the Looting enchant remains. Furthermore the sword doesn't have the purple hue that enchanted equipment have anymore but still has the Looting enchant somehow. How do I fix this?(I want both enchantments moved/separated from the sword)

We see this every time a base mod updates and it has a bunch of addons. Its more or less normal. Easiest option is to just downgrade create and wait for the addons to catch up

try a different version. it's also rough actually using mods on aternos - it is really best suited to vanilla because you get what you pay for regarding system resources (nothing)
