How to **manually** install a server - **On your own PC**

1. Click the Icon for the modpack.
2. Click the button next to play.
3. Click Export.
4. Select the files that should be included.
5. Send the zip to the people that want it! They can follow the instructions in !mc-installpack to install the pack!

Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone.

This options will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to here: https://www.curseforge.com/project/432/4471/create
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.
6. Select the files that should be included.
7. Open your Project you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.
8. Wait for Moderation & Sync so it can show up in the client! (See !sync for limitations)

For a mod to show up in the app:

• Projects MUST have a file marked as RELEASE or BETA
• Projects MUST be APPROVED
• Projects MUST have a file marked for the GAME VERSION SELECTED/LOADED
• Projects CAN'T be EXPERIMENTAL
• Projects CAN'T be ABANDONED

Files can take a while to show up in the app. If your files still have not shown up either your project is new and you have yet to mark a file as Release/Beta or there is issues with the sync system making it slow.

does anyone have an actual solution to the "stuck on 'Forging your Library' " problem? I have tried the *"Ol' Reliable"*s of restarting computer, deleting+reinstalling curseforge and overwolf, checking all firewalls, running as Admin. And none have worked, and to be honest, asking + searching curseforge-support has yielded nothing other than that this has been a known problem for over a year now, and that there isnt a single actual solution posted there, only the "send your error logs" response over and over with zero follow up other than the User leaving the discord server...

it pains me that i even feel it necessary to go this far...

Sometimes these issues are caused by different problems, and so one solution doesn't work for everyone.
I cant speak for the other community support, but i do sometimes leave people with a problem if i either need to go do something else or if i cannot find anything in the logs that might help me figure out a solution to it.
Most of the time i poke someone who might know more about that, or tell them i cant find a solutuion but sometimes i dont (especially if the channels very bust)

Also note that all community support, community admins and mods are volunteers, only the people in purple work for CF, and they rarely venture out into the public channels

If you can send your logs I can have a look at them, but i may not be able to find anything

I vaguely remember one case where it was a bad instance and removing that solved it

hey there ! i have just a quick question here, i just recently acquired a second pc to run my games while my other is my recording/broadcasting pc. how do i go about transferring the files from one pc to another? is it as simple as just copying files to an external harddrive and then placing the files into the curseforge folder on the second? Forge = Minecraft Forge, This is a modloader often just called "Forge".
Fabric = Fabric MC, this is another modloader, just called "Fabric".
CurseForge = A Website/App that has content for games.
Mods = Individual mod files.
Modpacks = Multiple mods put into the mods folder or downloaded from CurseForge.

These are not Interchangeable! Please use the correct terms as it allows us to help you faster!

5. Start the modpack.

How to Enable/Disable content management for modpacks.

1. Click on the picture of the modpack.

4. Check the Allow content management for this profile option if you want to edit the content of the modpack, uncheck it to disable.

NOTE: The Allow content management for this profile option is what allows you to Delete, Disable, Update or Install any Mods, Resource Packs or Maps managed by CurseForge. It must be on to modify any of them! (Currently)
