Leather armour can be coloured with dye, and some of the performance improvments that rubidium does must accidently touch that code and break it

One mod developer is pissed that I essentially published a fork of a mod w/ patches that someone else did that was under the MIT License and gave all credits to the former author and is trying to spill hate on me. I was not trying to do anything malicious and just trying to provide patches to dead and / or un updated versions of mods.
I just want to ask if this is efficial of me to do.
I did have affiliate links but my contract is to put them on all my projects and wasn't intending to pass of a fork of a mod with an affiliate link slapped on it

The project in question was a fork of ProjectE that added a fix for NBT items. My modpack that im building requires adding EMC to NBT items, so i was trying not to profit with an affiliate link but was just trying to get the pack on curse since they need the mods on a project, and i gave all credits to the mod dev
i didnt give any credits to the original creator of the fork though since i couldnt trace down their name
but the person who made the original mod had full credits

As for who is right or wrong here, if you have requested permission from the original author to upload a modified version of their mod, then you have done the morally correct thing regardless of their answer. Assuming you have changed the mod enough to warrant a reupload of it you should be fine doing so, so long as the license allows it. But I cannot say weather it does or not, and I'm not even sure CF will dig too deep into the issue if the original dev has a problem with it.

I know TBC Classic and Classic are both supported, but I do not play either so I have no first hand experience with the exact process. This bot command has some info for the app angle if that's what you're using, but on the website, I believe an addon's releases for multiple flavors of WoW are all found on that addon's "files" tab - with DBM for example, https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/deadly-boss-mods/files . On there, you can see the latest releases of DBM for Classic, BCC and Retail.

Was this one that was naturally generated? OR Did you place it? From what I understand from this mod you can't mine the naturally generated ones. Basically are for "learning". the ones you craft you should be able to break though. Unless the pack your playing changed this.
