The only answer I can come up with is they think being banned is some kind of badge of honor or they plan to discredit the server somehow by saying they were banned for no reason.

You just right click the server in your list and there's a "Leave Server" option, did you really not know that?

How to **manually** install a server - **On your own PC**

1. Check if the modpack has a server pack, if it does: use that and skip below.
2. Go to the Forge website http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the Installer for the forge version the pack is using.
3. Run the installer and choose Install server. Do not install to your desktop. Also do not install inside a OneDrive folder.
4. Run the server using the forge.jar. A file called eula.txt will be generated. Open it and change eula=false to eula=true
5. From the Client; Copy the mods folder, config folder, and any other folders needed for the pack to work into the server folder. If the modpack has a server pack, use this instead!
6. Run the server again.
7. Port forward your machine if needed. (Google it)

Yes and no.

Theres specific rules that get followed depending on the project type.

Like if you make a modpack, if it only contains curseforge mods and no 3rd party mods or any other files except the configs. It will be auto approved.

The main exception to this is new projects are always moderated.

Hello, I'm creating a Modded Forge server, I've done every step in order, and complete. The server runs fine. But when I go back to click on the forge-1.16.5-36.1.32.jar it doesn't generate any new files and displays and Error at the bottom, that's all it says. The new files i'm talking about are the mods folder, configs, default configs, etc. Here's what my server folder looks like, with the forge.jar im talking about highlighted. Does anyone know what could possibly be wrong?

What's your OS?

On Windows the default is C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft

Note that AppData is a hidden folder so unless you tell explorer to show hidden files and folders you'll need to manually specify the path to get there

There are allot of shared libraries and the removal of all mods like that is intentional and very frustrating

How to **manually** install a server - **On your own PC**

1. Check if the modpack has a server pack, if it does: use that and skip below.
2. Go to the Forge website http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the Installer for the forge version the pack is using.
3. Run the installer and choose Install server. Do not install to your desktop. Also do not install inside a OneDrive folder.
4. Run the server using the forge.jar. A file called eula.txt will be generated. Open it and change eula=false to eula=true
5. From the Client; Copy the mods folder, config folder, and any other folders needed for the pack to work into the server folder. If the modpack has a server pack, use this instead!
6. Run the server again.
7. Port forward your machine if needed. (Google it)

Well you can’t steal someone else’s image to use it as your own for the modpack logo as that can be subject to copyright so you should be making your own, the description is not great and the modpack is a long name . It’s literally names of 2 movies and a popular tv show .

There is a port that includes some of that type called "Sodium Reforged" - it's kind of buggy, if used with a lot of other mods it will probably be game breaking from something.

Giving ample memory for a pack, reducing render distance, turning vsync off, and some better java startup arguments can all help optimize also
