You can make it look like older systems with things like Classic Shell, but be careful when you download stuff like that, I've heard people downloading from strange websites and then got their computers more or less hijacked.
I love the UI in Windows 10, and I think the step into Windows 11 will be an easy transition as well, since you can set it so that the menu is on the left hand side as well.

When creating modpacks, you should install mods through the app, and then export the profile from the app, if files end up in the overrides folder, delete the mod and re-add it, and export again until it doesn't happen.

Forge was in the middle of a rewrite it almost enterily skipped over 1.13. Fabric might have been around but was just starting to gain traction. The app didn't support fabric till like a month ago either.

as every single modpack I go into brand new I need to switch all F and E (Ctrl+, Shift+, Alt+, Ect..)

that info is stored in options.txt. the contents in there differ with what is loaded on each modpack, so can't just overwrite the whole file. fwiw modpack authors can at least ship their packs with 'default options' setup that gives you an initial set of keybinds, but anything you change won't get wiped away if you do an update

Does anyone know the location the CF app looks for java folders/executables? I'd previously installed Java 11 manually in addition to 8 - and was visible from the app until I used Windows uninstall on it.
I'm asking to see if it's possible to also dump folders such as Java 15 without needing to be 'installed'? (And have the App itself see those as options, without needing to edit the MC launcher after playing)
