Export and Share - For Friends to Small Groups.

1. Click the Icon for the modpack.

Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone.

This options will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.

back then we he first made the server we added skyfactory 4 and played

then 1 day it just stopped letting me join in

it said connection timed out no further information

i googled and it said flush DNS and/or update java

did both

Hey i got a question about FTB modpacks, like, how do you play them? Do you set yourself a goal or a theme? what do you aim for? I dont have much experience in modded minecraft, the standard thing for me in vanilla is 'build a castle/stronghold' or 'build something cool', but in FTB theres a whole new element of industry, manufacturing, electricity. So whats a goal you set?

Why is the client's built-in search so useless? Just saw a user ask a mod dev where one of their dependencies was because CF didn't show it in the results. One. Stinking. Space. In the mod title. But the search term would've been found if "latest file" name was checked before giving up on a search
of course, it would probably help the people and would use Google before PINGing mod developers to "ask to ask", but CF really isn't helping things here. I've also noticed it will turn up NO results if the search field starts with a space, so... it's obviously not just the issue of not knowing where to split the string. Search is just dumb

How to install mods in CurseForge App.

1. Click + Create Custom Profile
2. Name it, select the required Minecraft version, select the Forge version (usually the highest number), click Create.
3. Click the profile icon.
4. Click Add New Content
5. Search and install the desired mods.
6. Start the game!

How to install mods not on CurseForge.

1. Right click the profile picture or Open the profile and click the Icon next to the play button.
2. Click Open Folder.
3. Drag the mod(s) into the mods folder. (Note: Some mods will require others, to run. Make sure to read the instructions for the mod!)

Since the frontend is down, there is no custom error they usually have so it got replaced by default one from IIS
