Where to find the log on the CurseForge Client.

Right-click the modpack profile icon OR click the CFmenu button in the modpack profile.
Click CFfolder Open Folder.
Open the logs folder.
Find the file called latest.log and drag it into discord.

unfortunatly that will include spiders. Only way I can think of getting around it is either as Clay said changing the textures OR get the java edition and there is a mod that removes them for java only

reason why I suggested using command block to constantly tick and kill all spider mobs really as I don't think there is an addon to rid of spiders for mcpe

java edition wise though obviously you can then just download that arachnophobia mod and I have seen resourcepacks or modded setting somewhere that made spiders less spider like and more of a cute blob similar to that of the game "grounded"

The "modpack" I downloaded is just a bunch of config files, and a manifest specifying what version of minecraft, forge, and a BUNCH of pointers to files (presumably .jar files hosted on curseforge.)

How to add/remove mods in a modpack.

Click on the picture of the modpack.
Click the Add More Content button, IF this button is not there, see below before continuing.
Find the Mods, Resource Packs or Maps you wish to Install and click Install on them.
Wait for all the required mods to be downloaded.
Start the modpack.

How to Enable/Disable content management for modpacks.

Click on the picture of the modpack.
Click on the button next to the Play button.
Click on Profile Options.
Check the Allow content management for this profile option if you want to edit the content of the modpack, uncheck it to disable.

NOTE: The Allow content management for this profile option is what allows you to Delete, Disable, Update or Install any Mods, Resource Packs or Maps managed by CurseForge. It must be on to modify any of them! (Currently)

not sure this belongs here, but not a fan of the launcher removing mods w/o the users consent. This was the situation I was in. I had a 1.16.5 instance with Quark, saw Dynamic Trees updated the other day, with Dynamic Trees- Quark with it. I decided I didn't want Dynamic Trees so I got rid of it and the Quark addon. The launcher removes Quark w/o the user saying so

Wording is important!

Forge = Minecraft Forge, This is a modloader often just called "Forge".
CurseForge = A Website/App that has content for games.
Mods = Individual mod files.
Modpacks = Multiple mods put into the mods folder or downloaded from CurseForge.

These are not Interchangeable! Please use the correct terms as it allows us to help you faster!

indeed they are, we removed the multiverse plugins due to them forcing survival mode on mods/admins when they rejoined the server,when they logged out in creative/spectator so they would die if they didnt quick switch back if logged out floating up in the sky 😆 . didn't need them now obviously with bungeecord there now and some other plugins.

How to **manually** install a server - **On your own PC**

Go to the Forge website http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the Installer for the forge version the pack is using.
Run the installer and choose Install server. Do not install to your desktop. Also do not install inside a OneDrive folder.
Run the server using the forge.jar. A file called eula.txt will be generated. Open it and change eula=false to eula=true
From the Client; Copy the mods folder, config folder, and any other folders needed for the pack to work into the server folder. If the modpack has a server pack, use this instead!
Run the server again.

Assuming you mean Minecraft and modded it you can get shaders on the authors website and install them with optifine but if you're using other mods it could crash and or have graphical issues

How to add/remove mods in a modpack.

Click on the picture of the modpack.
Click the Add More Content button, IF this button is not there, see below before continuing.
Find the Mods, Resource Packs or Maps you wish to Install and click Install on them.
Wait for all the required mods to be downloaded.
Start the modpack.

How to Enable/Disable content management for modpacks.

Click on the picture of the modpack.
Click on the button next to the Play button.
Click on Profile Options.
Check the Allow content management for this profile option if you want to edit the content of the modpack, uncheck it to disable.

NOTE: The Allow content management for this profile option is what allows you to Delete, Disable, Update or Install any Mods, Resource Packs or Maps managed by CurseForge. It must be on to modify any of them! (Currently)

The community of mod devs/authors already do so but it’s up to the team if it meets the requirements to be accepted

#

There is certain rules and such with licenses that mods that are not on curseforge . You can’t just upload a mod without the owners permission for instance
