Hello, I’m a server owner using the Chaos mod on Ark Ascended. I’ve noticed that Mr. Artifact The Original has stopped spawning entirely for over two weeks. Other tiers in the mod are also spawning much less frequently than before.
I run a wild dino wipe every 3 hours and my dino count is around 18k. Is there a known issue with the "Original" tier's spawn rate, or a specific setting in the config I should check to make them appear again?

How to make a world backup

1. Click the in your modpack profile.
2. Click Open Folder and enter the folder called saves.
**3. **Right click the folder with your world's name and click Copy.
4. In a location like Desktop, right click and paste the world folder.

You just made a backup of your world. If your current world gets corrupted for mods/version change, you can swap it out and resume playing safely.
It is recommended to create a new world backup regularly, and before adding/removing mods.

Take that entire thing and just... throw it into a server!

And yes, as Fox posted with the bot-- be sure to make a backup.

You don't need to keep the backup, but it's good to have one if you screw up a step or two.

Do keep in mind that you may want to check each mod individually to see if they're "client-sided", as client-side mods don't go into server folders. (They only affect you!)

Easy way to find out ones that are marked is if your modpack has this icon over the mods in question.

But "client-side" mods tend to be things like Minimaps, Inventory HUDs, texture or sound replacements, etc. Things that are typically aesthetic or menu in nature.
Examples: Inventory HUD+, Colorful Hearts, Xaero's Minimap, NBT Tooltips ,etc.

Mods that directly affect gameplay by adding tools, mobs, armor, blocks, etc. tend to be required on both sides.
Examples: Iron's Spellbooks, Twilight Forest, Chipped, Farmer's Delight, Celestisynth, etc.

Burnt adds barrels that explode when ignited.

Perhaps what you are interacting with is a sort of ‘spawn egg’ for an explosion

As I know nothing about the burnt mod all I can do is speculate: and I speculate that the burnt mod changes how explosions are done by swapping in their own custom script which also comes with that BLAST block- which is probably set to spawn in if certain blocks were to be ignited.

As for what might net you the best win on Windrose? That's... not really clear on purpose.
Your best bet is to make something truly quality and is very creative. The more it impresses, the more you're likely to win.

Personally, I got no interest in the game so I wouldn't know what would work best as a mod.

I change "Friendly" to light green, "Hostile" to light red, "Items" to yellow and "Others" to light purple.

With dark green and dark red being "tamd" versions of Friendy/Hostile respectively.

I usually set Players to Dark Gray as a fallback, but they usually have their icons forced on anyhow.

If it makes you feel even better, you can set custom categories for mobs you want to specifically track/be notified of.
For those, I usually set them to have bigger dots and make them gold.

Also, I believe there are two things for the Abyssal Depths that make it a lot more tolerable.
One of which is the Submarine, which can be repaired with some copper ingots.
The other is assembling the Diving Suit from Drowned in the area.

Both of which fix the issue of lacking oxygen.

How to add/remove mods in a modpack:

1. Click on the picture of the modpack.
2. Click the Add More Content button, IF this button is not there, see below before you continue.
3. Find the Mods, Resource Packs or Maps you wish to Install and click Install on them.
4. Wait for all the required mods to be downloaded.
5. Start the modpack.

How to Enable/Disable content management for modpacks:

1. Click on the picture of the modpack.

3. Click on Profile Options.
4. Check the Allow content management for this profile option if you want to edit the content of the modpack, uncheck it to disable.

Minecraft Ram Usage Info

Minecraft handles ram differently then other games. Too little can have issues, but same goes for too much. As Minecraft will literally try to use all the ram you give it and try to shove it all through 1 cpu core.

Instead of speeding up the game, it slows down the cpus processing by trying to process all the ram, used or unused.

Not really. Microsoft doesn’t care about the modding scene.
Once someone buys Minecraft that’s it on direct gains.
All that is left for Microsoft to do is sell player data to third parties and that will be profitable even with fewer mods

They wouldn’t, even if it was possible. It wouldn’t be an investment as they wouldn’t make more money from it nor get any money out of it as if they made mods paid the playerbase would absolutely rebel and find another way to mod the game or just quit all together. Also, modding benefits them, it’s not a different version of the game and (leaving behind exceptions) require owning it to play, it brings players to the game and let’s be honest, mods are the only reason why Minecraft is still alive, they owe that to the community. Speaking of which, modding being community driven helps making players feel in control

There are a lot of reasons why investors lose interest in F2P games it can be for lack of purchases or lack of players, it depends on the investor. I’m not going to go further on this because I’m not an investor I am simply a Minecraft player and mod dev, who has some small experience in game dev.
