A hair or dust caused a short in my original xbox and blew up a capacitor..

Due to how we had the thing plugged in it took me a bit to be able to reach the power cable as the power button didnt work.

Lots of thick white smoke covered the floor.... had to use fans to blast it out of the house and not set off our fire alarms.

And thats why you should always keep electronics clean of dust/hair..

Yep.. upside the harddrive in the xbox was still good. Same with the disk drive. So was able to get an xbox with a broken disk drive for cheap and fix it...

Ddos iirc is just an attack targeted towards your server, and it disrupts the normal connections traffic by overloading the server with botted pcs or similar

If the company offers protection against it then you should be fairly fine? If not the server probably just becomes unaccessible entirely, but could be based on the attack size

Its not something that lasts forever, its a direct attack done to you

• Tried Rabbit & Steel a moderate bit. Felt difficult to acclimate to properly.
• There were also a ton of Singleplayer games...
  • ENA: Dream BBQ.
  • Rerun of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky
  • Multiple Fire Emblem titles.
  • CODE Bunny and Soulstice were both games that could've better.
  • Fire Emblem Three Hopes (notably different since it's a Dynasty Warriors adjacent game)
  • Miitopia
  • Ever Oasis
  • Stella Glow (multiple runs, that game was fun.)
  • An extra run of Codename STEAM.
  • Bravely Second.
  • Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
    I think I might be glossing over a handful, but ye. (Added two Switch titles I missed.)

Ask me to list any before that and I'll start having difficulty. There are too many to list.

Example: Had my eye on a game called Mecha BREAK. Was fun from the demo. Than they started adding more currency requirements, failing to balance key parts of the game and it just started feeling more and more like yet another cash-grab.

It's a shame too, the game was fun... until they keep adding AI voice actors and failing to get matches running.

Well, I'm mostly pulling knowledge from a while ago.
If the core game remains the same and the rest listed there are "additions" from time, that just means it's gone from a "Factorio" setting to a "Factorio with some side-plot".
Not a bad thing mind you, but the core game is pretty damn important for factoring in everything else. It's why I don't play FFXIV or Xenoblade X. I just... don't vibe with the system and there's no real way to change it in a way that does work.

Though, I say "Factorio" mostly as a catch-all for "Production" games. Like the image above, it doesn't actually mean Factorio specifically.
